Its my first time to attend a toy show with a private auction event. The toys or figures from Funko went beyond the level of art paintings or sculptures. Why? because these limited edition Funko Hikari are one of a kind and each painted art in the figure are beautifully hand crafted and painted by an artist, the figure is numbered to one is to one OR one piece is available only in the world.
It’s a quite shock for me because I thought that vintage toys and other exclusive Transformers can reach the amount of PHP10,000,but here at the Funko Hikari event, each piece was auctioned off at a price of PHP 10,000 up to PHP 20,000 per figure.
The auction event is so crazy that I can’t even bid a single peso ahhahaha. its super expensive and its very valuable. The figures were only released here in Manila and these are only available with a special price. The Mindstyle team brought this here and all Funko collectors troop down and celebrated the awesome releases of new Funko Hikari.
30+ pieces and some paintings were auctioned off in one hit, and one pinoy collector bought it at a price of PHP 180,000 that night…. oh geez…cheese wiz!
Congratulations to Mindstyle for organizing this…hope to see more Funko event next year.
