Watch little girls take center stage as fashion designer Happy Andrada launches her “Little Princess” collection with a pre-Christmas show entitled “A Happy Christmas” at the Atrium level of The Shangri-la Plaza, Ortigas Center, on December 5, 5pm. This exciting event for little girls will showcase a fun fashion show of Happy’s 40-piece collection, storytelling, contests and more.

Happy Andrada will present her colorful, edgy, quirky and trendy new line during the fashion show. Happy’s “Little Princess” collection will experiment and apply details such as doiley, buttons, stuffed charms, lace, ribbons, cut-outs and many more to make each piece as unique as it can be. Expect to see plenty of ‘prints’ and colorful hues --- yellow, blue, pink, orange, green, black, white, violet and red. Each design promises to be a visual treat to the eyes. Happy’s “Little Princess” line will include Diva Princess, Glam Princess, Rocker Princess, Funky Princess, Harajuku Pop Princess, Hippie Princess and Christmas Princess. (read more below)

Born in the 80’s, Happy Andrada was exposed to different artistic sensibilities. Remembering her growing-up years as a child, Happy could only but vividly recall her own set of clothes from the “prim and proper” to the Madonna-esque. Which is why, for the “Little Princess” fashion collection, Happy’s inspiration ranges from the girls in the movie “The Sound of Music” all dressed up having tea, or running around in the garden and most especially when they sang “So Long Farewell.” For the edgier designs, Happy got inspiration from Morticia and Wednesday from “The Addams Family” who looked amazing in black and white outfits. “I also drool over The Rolling Stones song “Paint it Black,” Happy said. For the bright designs, Happy was inspired by ‘Jem and the Holograms’ cartoons which she watched everyday as a little girl. On this special event, Happy will also celebrate her 25th birthday and seven years in the fashion biz.

“A Happy Christmas” will feature surprises and treats by Happy Andrada’s collaboration team. The show will be directed by Gerry Katigbak and hosted by Domi Espejo. Storytelling will be given by Viva Andrada. Digital film will be presented by Versa Vise productions. Pixel art will be provided by photo artist Darrel Pobre. PhotoBot Manila shall put up a photo booth for souvenirs. Guests will also be treated to a pre-show cocktail reception with popcorn, cotton candy, chocolates, hotdogs, and more. Plus, contests from the event sponsors will surely delight young girls. This event will be made possible through generous support from the following sponsors: Crossings, Shangri-la Plaza EDSA, PhotoBot, Listening in Style, Fashion Art (F*ART), and One Beauty Center.

The “Little Princess” fashion collection by Happy Andrada will be exclusively available at Crossings Department Store, Shangri-la Plaza .
