Starbucks TEAVANA now available in all Starbucks Philippines branches



Experience tea heaven or tea nirvana in all branches of Starbucks Philippines. Starbucks Teavana (read as Tea-vana and not Teya-vana) is now here and they've added 4 more awesome herbal tea to their beverage line up that you can order over the counter or as a box of tea for your home tea-nirvana. The official launch of Starbucks Teavana will be on September 14, 2016.

Starbucks Teavana is the much awaited beverage product of Starbucks that made waves in the US and now finally here in the Asian region.  Starbucks Coffee serves tea too, they have two kinds of tea in the previous menu that you can order over the bar, they have the Mint tea and the Chamomile tea, both are caffeine free herbal tea, which you can ask the barista to custom made your kind of tea -- hot or cold.

My wife orders this and always request to add some soy milk over her mint or chamomile cold or hot tea. I didn't like the taste but for people who are watchful of their diet and healthy in take of food, you can see them sipping these tea.

The launch of the 4 new tea under the Starbucks Teavana was held here at the colorful and cute Starbucks branch in Eugenio Lopez Avenue, Diliman, QC.

Its a new branch near the Pinoy Big Brother House and infront of the Camelot.

I think they should call this branch Starbucks PBB or Starbucks Camelot. But I think Starbucks PBB House is much recognizable haha.

Starbucks Philippines did prepare for the coming of Starbucks Teavana, I was invited to check out their new product and I dont event know that it was a tea, because of my busy schedule, I just learned that I should wear a color coordinated shirt to match the color of the tea. So I went there with a pink shirt ---because it reminds me of that floral flavor of a tea --- which is the Hibiscus tea (my fave!!!)


Teavana Packaged Tea

The Starbucks Teavana line up includes the  ---- English Breakfast, Emperor's Clouds and Mist, Youthberry and the caffeine free Hibiscus tea.

You can now order a box of it containing 12 sachets, or you can order a cup of tea over the bar for here and to go.


Black Tea
English Breakfast – A handcrafted blend of Indian Assam, Sri Lankan Ceylon and Chinese black tea. This tastes great with or without milk.

White Tea
Youthberry™ – Inspired by super fruits, acai fruit is blended with tropical pineapple and mango flavors with high quality white tea, balanced by rosehips and tart green apple.

Green Tea

Emperor’s Clouds and Mist™Exclusively harvested during the month of April and grown on the steep, windy slopes of Huangshan Mountain at 3,500 feet above sea level, this tea has a rich body and a naturally sweet flavor.

Caffeine-Free Herbal Teas

Hibiscus – Bright, juicy papaya and mango combined with citrus lemongrass for a naturally caffeine-free blend. Hibiscus flowers lend the tea a slight tartness and extraordinary deep fuchsia color.

Mint Blend
– This tea’s spearmint base is rounded out with cool peppermint notes and undertones of spicy-sweet lemon verbena. The mint leaves come from the highly sought after and prized Pacific Northwest mint known for its high amount of mint oil.

Chamomile
– The Chamomile used for this tea is sourced from Croatia. It provides the overarching flavor for this soft, soothing floral blend.

I met Starbucks Philippines' coffee masters at the launch to have a taste test and also get to meet the Starbucks Teavana line up.

Here I just learned that the Teavana word is read as Tea-van, and not Teya-vana

I started to smell the tea first and then feel the aroma of the herbal tea, I just remembered that my fave is the floral aroma of the Hibiscus tea, its very refreshing and very light, plus comes a floral sweet flavor, which is good for a tropical weather.

The Youthberry is also fruity and floral because of its pineapple blend flavor, I dont like pineapple but with this tea, I can withstand the sweetness and strong aroma of a pineapple. The Emperor's Clouds and Mist reminds me of a natural Chinese herbal tea, it has a slight sweetness and strong flavor. The English Breakfast tea is a crowd favorite, its a perfect afternoon tea that you can partner with any food on the table.

Getting to know the Starbucks Teavana in hot tea is nice. Its better to start here first before you try their cold tea beverage.

I thought that I can buy one satchet at the bar, but the Starbucks Philippines crew told me that I can order a hot or cold tea drink at the bar.

Or I can buy a box of it.

Wow! I felt that it was summer time again, but its hard to know which one here will beat my Hibiscus tea.

The cold beverage doesn't come in plain tea with cold water. They've added some ingredients to make the cold beverage stand out from the other or normal tea flavor.

I like the Hibiscus cold tea drink with bursting fruity pearl, its one of the best inventions ever! the exploding pearls ahhahaha. I super enjoyed the drink while eating a cake and a sandwich at Starbucks.
