We celebrate Christmas with our family, but sometimes we think that we need to celebrate it with our friends and barkada, and this is to organize a general meet up and reunion with our college barkada or tropa, to have a get together food trip in one table and munch some good food while we exchange different stories and updates in our life. I remember me and some of my buddies always organize a get together after the holiday event, a big bottle of Red Horse beer and some pulutan always save the day and go home with lots of laughter and hugs to each other after bringing back those funny old memories back in highschool or college.
And because all of my tropas and new tropas are busy in their family and other activities (toys hahaha), I'm glad that Lace and her DLSU college friends organized a get together few days ago and the host will be their friend Thill who lives in Sucat and their family owns and manage the Trinity Ihaw Ihaw and Food House, which is one of the famous dampa restos in Manila, now have their new branch in SM MOA at the San Miguel Park by the bay. Everyone got excited, me, Lace and the baby ahaah after hearing that they will serve good food for all of us, thanks to Lian for organizing and did a round up of phone calls. At the night of the dinner party, we are so excited to to eat those food. Thill prepared lots of food. Food in the left, to the right, to the front and they transformed our Sorbeteros cheese flavored ice cream into a wonderful dessert, Lace enjoyed eating the ice cream we bought in 711 nearby and then Thill added some banana with sweet syrups and that malutong na turon skin.
It was night of bringing back college memories, I'm glad that I can relate a little, because I usually get updated or sometimes I'm there during their college days, I even heard that our favorite pasta hang out near DLSU, "House Blend" is already closed, and then there we share our views and some observation of the big change in DLSU, they now are open to all students to wear clothes and they have uplifted the ban of short shorts and skirts. I automatically say wow that DLSU allow now pek pek shorts... wow!
