Flippish, the First Online Pinoy Video Channel celebrates its 1st anniversary
on Thursday, July 1st 2010 at Fiamma in Jupiter Street Makati. The event will
also launch Flippish’s fun and fresh batch of new shows set to air this year. (more below)
A LOOK AT THE PAST YEAR
As the First Online Pinoy Video Chanel, they have made their mark on the internet.
With a variety of shows ranging from comedy to music, lifestyle, travel and even live
webcasts, earning them a spot on Speed Magazine’s 50 Top Newsmakers of 2009.
In the past year, Flippish has launched shows like Brain Freeze, Hot Spots, To Be
Continued, and Who Dares Kring, Fact Sheet, and others all set to entertain a vast
online community. Taking things up a notch, Flippish launched a weekly live show,
Talking Heads--a weekly talk show hosted by Kring Elenzano and Chris Tan. They
have also done live webcasts for Preview’s Best Dressed Ball, Yes Magazine’s
Anniversary Party, Globe and Ayala Land Run for Home, The FHM Anniversary,
The Philippine Blog Awards. Flippish has become the premiere provider for live
streaming in the Philippines.
The online video channel reached 2.2 Million hits in a month and has gained a faithful
following. The growing Flippish audience is starting to realize the satisfaction of
online entertainment.
It’s Alive: THE FLIPPISH ANNIVERSARY PARTY
This year, Flippish is set for new heights and will be bringing new and exciting things
to life by launching new shows namely, Passport, the first online travel show hosted
by Eco Mambo, Going Mental featuring the Mental Assasin Justin Pinon, Pinoy
Parazz Live the first online showbiz talkshow, LSS season 2 featuring the country’s
underground music gems, Spotlight the Live Concert Series hosted by DJ Fran, and
Night Life hosted by Cerah Hernandez who will also host the Flippish event.
December Avenue, LSS Season Two’s first featured band, will also perform some of
their original music live on the venue.
