In
celebration of Manila urban lifestyle, Hennessy unveiled this awesome cool pinoy
jeepney, its like a party bus, but it’s a custom built jeepney.
This is
a symbol of what Hennessy stand in our local culture. We know that Hennessy as
the best cognac in the world, travel across the globe to embrace what the local
culture, tradition and historical symbol of a certain country.
From
what I learned, Hennessy is not just your ordinary cognac that can be paired
with the usual food and international cuisine. Here are the Hennessy King of the
Road event, they showcased that the Hennessy can be paired to our local food, we
joined the taste test and Im very happy with the turn out because there’s a new
flavor to patronize.
Hennessy tastes good on the rocks, it’s the only
alcoholic drink that I can drink with no added concoctions. Also Hennessy made
me learn how to drink moderately.

The
Habal-Habal, named after the “one-person jeepney”, was a drink that used black
pepper infused Hennessy VS, coupled with bay leaf, honey, calamansi, and ginger
beer, served in a highball glass.
Patok,
got its name from the loud, fast and colorful jeepneys. Here he infused Hennessy
VS with siling labuyo, complemented with honey, calamansi, and a dash of white
vinegar.
Side

paired it with white chocolate, hibiscus syrup, calamansi, and foamed egg white,
served up with sprayed-on Angostura and Peychauds graffiti
