I've been waiting for a long time to experience the comfy recliner seats of SM Cinema's Director's Club in S Maison, I've tried their other branches but I'm more interested in S Maison's cinema because the mall is my favorite hang out place and I always stay there to eat and also drink my coffee. Its a hiding out for me if ever I need a place to stay whenever I go solo.
This month's release of two big movies- - Ocean's 8 and Escape Plan 2: Hades, I got a chance to visit and also try The Director's Club Cinema of S Maison and after watching Escape Plan 2, I just wished that I watched the Avengers: Infinity War movie here few months ago, because the cinema offers these to their customers:
1. Comfy recliner seats
2. There's a butler service
3. Advanced sound and projection
4. Clear and clean screen
5. Restrooms are clean and they are located inside the cinema
6. AC is better and cooler
Btw the photo above is a result of a funny aftermath of a photo op when we watched the Escape Plan 2 movie, we didn’t expected that they will display the mug shot photos on the cinema’s movie poster billboard screen.
If you are new to a Director's Club Cinema, here are some tips for you.
1. Its a reserve seating, choose the best seating for your cinema experience, but if ever you are located at the top or lower seat, the viewing at the screen is much elevated, it means that no one will block your view, because the cinema seats are elevated per row.
2. When the butler arrives, just order all drinks and pop corn so that you can eat it while the movie is on the screen. You can also press a button near your seat to call the butler's attention if you need more pop corn refill.
That night- I finished 3 popcorns, the BBQ flavor is good!
3. There are a lot of different buttons at the remote controller for the recliner seat, there's a button for the back rest and leg rest, you can adjust it according to your preference. There's also a button that the back and leg rest recline at the same time. Before the movie start to roll, I suggest you familiarize yourself using the remote controller for the recliner seat.
4. There's also a nice lower back rest for the recliner seat, make sure you try and if you feel uncomfy, you can remove it by pressing a button from the remote control
5. Escape Plan 2: Hades is like a puzzle, you need to focus at the story and you do the rest to build everything on your mind hahaha. I think the movie was made for audiences in China, because the major stars are actors from China, but I like the fight scene and also I felt that Im also a prisoner in the movie and trying to figure out how to get out of that high tech prison aka the Zoo.
