Aside from surprise discounts every half an hour and hot deals in every corner of the event, Klook Travel Fest 2019 also boasts of great line-up of guest speakers that will impart travel advice and tips on embarking on your next travel destination.
Bea Binene, Cebu Pacific’s Juan Effect ambassador, shared her advocacy for Sustainable and Responsible Tourism. She said that as a tourist visiting a country or destination, we should be mindful and respect the place we visit by simply not leaving your trash, especially plastic that could end up in oceans and destroy the biodiversity of that place. We can do our part by becoming a responsible tourist.

Binibining Pilipinas Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman also shared tips on how to make the most out of every trip. Parents had a great time as well as PLDT brought loving couple Edric and Joy Mendoza to share their secrets on how to travel smart with children. Patricia Reyes then talked about being a budget traveler thanks to Klook and Shopback. Travel buds Dominic Roque and Patrick Sugui along with the Singapore Tourism Board showed everyone just how thrilling Singapore adventures can be.
As early as opening, KPOP fans flocked and waited at the event hall. At the end of the day, they were treated with performances by Korean groups Weki Meki and Monsta X as they joined Klook’s cosmic celebration of their second birthday in the Philippines!

On the second day, Klook Travel Fest was also packed as the first one with well-loved guest speakers gracing the event! Team Kramer shared some of their most FAM-tastic travel memories as a family, while aspirational travel couple Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen of Do You Travel gave an eye-opening talk on how to experience different cultures like a local. Next up, Liza Soberano wowed everyone with her never before shared secrets on becoming a globetrotter. Lastly, foodies also got the chance to learn more about the different flavors of the world with Michael Chen of Strictly Dumpling!
