Google Philippines launches MSME Caravan campaign to digitize small businesses nationwide



Google Philippines in partnership with DTI (Department of Industry) are on a campaign to help small businesses to go online or to be digitize via their MSME Caravan campaign under the "Grow with Google" program which aims to reach micro, small and medium enterprises to use digital tools to be more competitive, be visible in the market and grow their business by tapping consumers who are present online.

MSME Caravan is now on tour nationwide and they are conducting training and seminar for small businesses, especially start up business, where they can learn on how they can grow their business and use the non traditional and traditional way and also the digital way by using Google's tools like the Google MyBusiness and Google's Primer app - a new and free app that you can install in your phone and you can learn everything to improve skills in marketing, business and etc.

At the presscon, they invited small business owners to showcase their products and also share their story of their business when using the Google MyBusiness and go digital.

Qmansi, a ready to drink calamansi juice is a product from the Quirino Province. The owner - Michelle Mariano went to the DTI seminar and have learned about Google MyBusiness, After she used the Google service for her business. The Qmansi brand was digitally visible on the net and was viewed by many customers and after that, Qmansi attracted more clients based in Manila, and now she produces 5,000 bottles daily to supply her clients.

Another good tip is from the owner of Papa Beltz Pok Etag, he said that if your area has no mobile data signal, then you have to move to a place where there is signal in order to use the internet. That way you can build the online presence of your brand and also have communication with clients who are using the internet.



The Google Primer app is designed to help micro, small and medium entrep. Its a free mobile app that offers quick and easy to understand lessons for owners to grow their businesses and digital marketing skill.
