Planet X Comic shop Grand Opening in Glorietta 4

Reserve the date - September 27, 2008. One of the new and biggest comic store in Manila has a new branch and a grand celebration of its opening has invited lots of Filipino comic creators and artist who will be present and open for meet and greet, autograph signing, photo op, and sketches. And the good part is... They will be giving away lots of comics for FREE... sounds like another FREE comic book day in Planet X Comics. check out the info below.




We will be giving away THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of FREE COMICS
(similar to Free Comic Book Day)

The First 50 people in attendance (starting at noon) will receive a special print created for this event.

Featuring Special Guest Artists:

Edgar Tadeo(Wolverine, X-men)
Gerry Alanguilan (Superman, X-men, X-Force, Elmer)
Gilbert Monsanto (Bayan Knights, Hellcop, Tropa)
Leinil Yu (Secret Invasion, Wolverine, X-men)

***and possibly more artists to be confirmed

Artists will be signing from 1pm-5pm. Autographs will be free of charge.

Full sketches/drawings of the character of your choice will cost P500 each done on a standard comic sized cardboard (10.5 x 7)

(with the exception of Leinil who will not be able to sketch that day due to deadlines)

We are now taking advance reservations for full sketches/drawings
