The e-Services event just started as an international event, focus only as an annual business conference. But today it just evolved into a global sourcing conference and exhibition happening every year.

I just realized and now believe for the 2nd time, that the E-services Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition is really a mover in the industry and I'm very impressed on the panel talks and discussions during the day 1 conference, attended by CEO and industry leaders of various companies, they were there not only to do networking, but also to lift up our industry of BPO and IT here in the Philippines and because of the global economic downfall and recession that we experience and observed happening in other countries, that economic event is a big opportunity for all companies here in the Philippines to offer services, not that is cheaper, but more better and accurate. And because that I arrived late for the full conference, I just missed some interesting talks and keynote speech of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, but glad that I caught some last talks about the IT/BPO Forecast fo 2009. And on my note their priorties in mind is to
1. have a 3rd BPO investement missions and conferences and promote the philippines as the primaary outsourcing destination
2. Pangulong Gloria Scholarship (PGS), P350 million of worth of training and scholarship for IT and animation
3. Ttraining for O and O leadership program ( TOOL), Management Dev program BPAP Dev with ADMU and DLSU graduaete school of business inteneded to increase the number of capable managers for BPO.

At the e-Services exhibit, I just got in to talk with people from Voice One, and they are offering itnernet phone services and also data storage for your company. At their booth, they showed me on how their service works and how their trunkline services will make businesses more convenient to their clients and customers. And on the other side of the exhibit, I met Janette Toral of digitalfilipino.com and it was great to see her after few months and she has a booth there all about blog marketing and SEO, I also got a big pointers and tips about blogging and marketing which I apply all the advice she gave to me and I truly believe on it because I have this vision that I want to have for my blog. And on the far side of the hall, I met my industry friends of gaming, Vitas Developments has a nice sparking booth featuring their all Filipino made Bangu Bang mania, also I got in touch with them few months ago and they participated in some of my events, and now they shared to me that their online game is working well in the game and trade industry. I also heard about this Creative Programs event that will be held soon, which I got an idea to launch an association for bloggers and also artist.

The e-services is truly an amazing event, not only I learned about the business, but i learned more on how I must act and do iniative in helping my self to have a big growth, but also help others. It was a great experience to be there and I'm there as a media person covering the event, but turn out that I am part of the big league in the industry, because in the world of freelancing, we freelancers are some sort of BPOs too.
