Japan's Gundam lifesize scale statue destroyed after quake ??

I just read a tagged photo and news at Facebook and I'm surprised to see that the Gundam statue in Japan wasn't spared after the massive earthquake yesterday. Lots of otakus got worried and sad after they saw the photo. I'm sure the Japanese will rebuild this up once their community goes back to normal. Now I read somewhere that some people are worried that their JAV idol should be saved first.

I wonder what will be reaction of Robot Pilipinas?

the first source reacted and thought that the statue was badly damaged by the earthquake. I'm glad that another source reveals that the dismantle is a part of another exhibit.
