I was there with my blogger friends to cover the grand launching, the funny thing that happened to me is that I left the battery of the DSLR at home and all I got is a point and shoot quality shot of the event, thanks to my sister who was there with me and glad that she brought her Samsung camera, I used her camera and took some photos of the event.
Last year was like a grand variety show, and it was a similar set up for this year, ABS CBN Kapamilya stars and their ASAP rock celebrities did a live performance on stage. Nikki Gil and Karylle hosted the event and there they introduce and welcome everyone for celebrating the grand launch of SM ChriSMs in SM Mall of Asia. Richard Gomez and his wife Lucy Torres together with their daughter went on stage to light up the 50 foot Christmas Tree and declare the start of Christmas season in all SM Supermalls, Mr. Hans Sy of SM Prime Holdings joined them on stage to light up the tree, all SM VIPs, celebs and mall goers celebrated an early Christmas in SM Mall of Asia.
The grand attraction of the SM ChriSMs set up of Mall of Asia are:
1. The grand Christmas Tree
2. Photo op with Santa Claus
3. Sometimes there are some choral performances everyday
4. Life size giant Snow Globe - one of the best attractions ever! You need to pay a P50 as entrance fee to go inside the giant snow globe, you can have a photo op inside and experience REAL SNOW falling inside the snow globe. I tried it and it was sooooo cold inside, just be careful whenever you are inside because the snowy icy floor is very slippery.
