Hotel H2O in Manila is the first and only marine-themed integrated resort hotel in the Philippines. Hotel H2O is popular to tourist and family staycationers because they offer hotel rooms with a large aquarium as its wall and its filled with live marine animals that connects to the large aquarium of Manila Ocean Park.
Hotel H2O is still young at 5 years in Manila, but they are considered old already in the hotel business. I remember that my first stay here 5 years ago is so memorable, because its fun to live and sleep in a hotel room with these live fishes swimming around the aquarium wall.
Today, I’ve learned that they added more rooms at Hotel H2O to accommodate more foreign and local tourist, the Aqua room is still the most popular room because of its aquarium wall features, but for others, they love the Bayview room because you can see and watch the iconic Manila Bay and its golden Sunset through the window.
HOTEL H2O FRESH
Hotel H2O started the year 2016 by offering a fresh concept and deals to their customers, especially for the frequent guest and visitors of the hotel. They’ve launched a Fresh Rewards Card and this entitles the hotel guest to earn points and receive discounts from Hotel H2O and other establishments around Manila Ocean Park.
Above is a sample of their Fresh Rewards Card, you can only get this card after your 2nd stay at Hotel H2O, for returning guest, they too are entitled for the rewards card, their database system of hotel guest can track down on how many times you check-in at Hotel H2O.
The card can be used to get discounts at Hotel H2O, Makan Makan ASian Food Village, Zenyu Eco Spa and Manila Ocean Park.

SHARECATION
Its my first time to hear the word “sharecation”, after the popularity of the term “staycation”, meaning staying in a vacation without leaving the city or stay a vacation in a hotel for an overnight. But what about Share-cation? is it about sharing a room?
Hotel H2O announced that they will have a Sharecation program that will be launched soon this year. Its not a vacation program or discount, its all about giving back to the community and donating some part of their revenue to selected beneficiaries from different organizations that supports the elderly, the sick, caring for the environment and the animal kingdom.
Guest who stays at Hotel H2O powers this Sharecation program through patronizing the hotel’s services and amenities.

I also learned that they have a swimming pool outside the hotel, it is located near the marine shows and the close up encounter with sharks and stingrays, but don’t worry, the pool are located to a private and covered area. You just need to walk outside and enter the public space of Manila Ocean Park.
