Surfing in the big city, for me it is a promised land!

I promised myself that before I die, I should be a heavy player in surfing or snow boarding, and because its a unique sport here in the Philippines and I want to try it and learn it, after graduating from inline skating, skateboarding, bmx, street hockey, ice skating and snorkling ahhaha, this is the sport I want to try here in Manila - Surfing!!!!

more photos, story and info below after the jump

No need to go to the beach or ride you way to the rocky mountains and down the hill to get a perfect wave in the ocean near the beach, because the surfing mania is here in Manila. I was surprise to hear this radio interview in one of the guys at Philippine Surfing Academy, they told that they are already having summer classes on surfing right in the middle of the metro. So my mind pops out and think of that indoor surfing venue in Japan and USA, and I was correct! they do surf in this resort called Club Manila East. I went to the website to check it out and they advertise that surfing class for only P1,500 only! and according to the interview no more worries in big waves, coral reefs, jelly fish and sharks!.

Now I'm thinking of getting a surfing lesson soon after my events in June and this will be my perfect beach hideout after the summer ends, and yes! I want to be there relaxing, surfing and sleeping ahhaha, saw at the website that the resort has wifi, so no problem to me if I go there and spend an overnight stay. hmmm now I'm planning already....I'm so excited !!!!!

glad that they can do that now after seeing that wake boarding exhibition at Bonifacio High Street, now surfing is here in the big city and now I wish to have our own indoor snowboarding

I know the place because we have a place in Taytay. Traffic used to be really bad in Ortigas Ave Extension. I hope it's much better now.

Surfing and snowboarding are the best. Snowboarding is in danger. Let's just hope that Global Warming will end. So we can save this sport.
