We were invited to the launching of the Jollitown season 2 last March 30 at the NBC tent, and I'm so excited because its a Jollibee event and every time I attend their events, I feel that I turn into a kid again. Jollibee is here for 30 years already and its more than just a fast food resto, but it is also a tv show for kids. Jollibee and his friends Hetty, Popo, Twirlie and Yum will be back again at the Jollitown season 2 that will premiere this April 19th in GMA 7 , 8:30am- 9:00am every Sunday.
“For us at Jollibee, Jollitown became an important vehicle that allowed us to reach Filipino households in a very personal way,” Jollibee VP for Marketing Gold F. Tantoco said. “Through Jollitown, we want to ignite and touch the consciousness of our kids so they will not only be entertained but taught how
to become better and responsible citizens at their early age.”
Ms. Tantoco shared that for its second season, Jollitown will focus on imparting to kids simple yet timeless values such as being courteous, showing respect for others, obedience, honesty and even caring for their pets -- all in a fun and creative way.
As in the first season, the Wishing Well returns with dazzling superpowers. The Jollifriends and their new barkada will also be able to explore places beyond Jollitown such as the Cloudland and the breathtaking Giant Land.
Aside from the kids mainstays who will be introduced, new and exciting characters like Wind and Moon will also keep children glued to every episode.

At the launching event, we were treated some goodies and we got photo op with the Jollibee friends, I'm very happy to see them perform all together on stage, and the tv show is very kid friendly and very educational, kids today are very lucky that they can watch this kind of show on local tv. I was wishing for a Jollibee cartoon when I was a kid, but mascots in a wonder of adventures and fun is more okay to me. The 1st episode of Season 2 will give more story on what will be the upcoming role of each of the characters, looks like the Wishing Well is more magical than from Season 1. I won't spoil more, just wake your kids before 8:30am and tune in to GMA 7, believe me, this show is more Filipino and a lot more better than Barney.
