I encountered a press release a few months ago about the Samsung ST1000 camera, It is the world's first camera has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and geo-tagging. If you use this camera, then you can now send the photos via wifi in any place that can detect a wifi hot spot, or you can share it easily via bluetooth to a mobile phone if you friend wants to take home those pics. And now that the camera is already here in the Philippines, you can now take it home for a price of P24,000. I just saw a price catalog last Saturday and I'm surprised that the camera is here already.
so if you are planning to grab a new point and shoot camera, then grab this camera with wifi. I haven't use it yet, but will post a review here if ever I tested it. (more pics below)
below are some features and details
- Bluetooth 2.0 & Wi-Fi (DLNA Supported)
* Wi-Fi only available where verification not required
- Geo-tagging with city name
- 3.5" wide 1152k touch LCD
- Gesture UI
- Smart Auto (16scenes)
- 720p HD movie, H.264 format, HDMI CEC
- Smart face recognition
hmm, no 2view screen yet, but I know they will make one in the future merging a ST550 and St1000 camera model into one unit.
