my Street Fighter 4 experience and tournament

I just experienced my first ever game play of Street Fighter 4, it amazes for awhile and left me scratching my ahead after playing the game. I know that practice makes it perfect, but the big deal is that.. I dont have a Ps3 !! ahahaha.

Its okay, feel free to read more my story below and check out that tournament happening tomorrow! Hadouken!!!!!!!

Read more below

I was roaming around Robinsons Pioneer, then I saw a guy in a game tourney area and booth playing Street Fighter 4, it was my first time to see a real game play of SF4 and I'm very geeked out watching near the attendant while he plays the game. I look on the moves, the intro, the way of the graphics, its like I'm mastering a move of an enemy and because that it looks more different than the previous SF, I got curious and dream of playing the game myself.

Luckily, the attendant was called by his supervisor to entertain a customer. The attendant look at me and hand over the game pad and said "wanna play sir?", I didn't think twice and I almost dropped my jaw after pressing start and select Ryu as my game character. It was an all glory for me to try Sf4 and I nearly cried after beating M.Bison. I applied all my moves on what I learned playing Sf2 and it matches my technique. The only problem is that the characters moves so slow and looks like Ryu is so heavy in moving, I know the game developers wanted it to be more realistic. But in this version. I really like what they did and this revamp will apply in most of SF generations.

I suck beating Blanka, and Im starting to hate the character, then after quitting the game. I realized that my gaming character for SF2 is Guile, and because that the gameplay is like SF2, I almost forgot to try Guile. hmm maybe next time I'll try Guile and will bust those Blanka's asses in my next challenge.

Btw, they have a tournament on May 23, 2009 in Robinsons Pioneer, just check out the poster below for details, as I know, you need to purchase something in their Toy Box sale with discounts in order the join the big fight! this is the 2nd tourney for SF4 and hope to see more of this in the future.

Ninja Gaiden movie trailer

I'm surprised that there's a Ninja Gaiden movie, my younglig blood is kicking and remember that I play this video game til Ninja Gaiden III, and I even made a fan comic book of this video game during my high school years, and wow I'm such a big fan of it, but not yet sure if this is real, but seeing the trailer makes it 100% real. I'm still waiting for the press release. And its much better to see a video game film not into the Hollywood light, which is good and not that Dragon Ball-ish Evolution.
Watch the trailer below

Ok. a friend told me that this movie is a FAKE ahahaha
my fanboyism in me kick in first before researching if its real.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Vic Sotto at TV5 on May 23

Everyone got addicted to this show, I remember that we used to watch this after dinner time with my family. The show reunites everyone in the living room and watch the show, about wit and luck. The prize is really jaw dropping. And this year, Vic Sotto (Bossing!) will be the main host and I'm very curious on how will he handle hosting an international tv game show. Tv5 did a great revamped, and its in the heat of Slum Dog's Millionaire movie, everyone will love the new format of it. Read more below for info of the show

TV5’s Who Wants to be a Millionaire hosted by Vic Sotto, enters primetime TV on May 23

Saturday nights are now bigger and more exciting as primetime TV rivalry comes to a bottleneck with TV5's launching of the unrivalled international top-rating game show franchise of all time, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, hosted by entertainment master, Vic Sotto, as the show once again takes hold of its throne on Philippine TV starting May 23, Saturday.

Based on the original British format, contestants coming from all over the country will compete to get on the "hot seat" to which the ascent to the seven-digit jackpot begins by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. Traditionally, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? is a general knowledge game show that sets off challenges, suspense, and a 1 Million cash prize. But as it lands on TV5, the show escalates it to a P2,000,000 jackpot prize, turning the contestants eager and excited as the questions eventually turn into higher levels of difficulty.

Keeping loyal to its original format, contestants are provided "Lifelines" in the form of ‘Ask the Audience’ at which the audience key in their answers, ‘50/50’ wherein two wrong answers are eliminated from the choices, and the ‘Phone a Friend’ option.

Interested contestants all over the country are given the chance to win millions by just simply typing in "MILLION (space) Name" to 2910 on their mobile phones, wherein an automated reply will be sent to the subscriber for the next steps.

Aside from the game show's exciting format and crisp mechanics that has been tried and tested yet still is undoubtedly novel, Vic Sotto as Who Wants to be a Millionaire? game show master and as the latest addition to the TV5 family is already something to watch out for. The no. 1 most popular and biggest game show paralleled with the "bossing" of all game shows make it an unmistakeably major player in the weekend primetime TV scene.

On its pilot episode, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? will be brimming with celebrities who want to relive the millionaire dream. Other game shows will usually feature only one or two celebrities as contestants, but to welcome the comeback of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? on Philippine TV, it will be a star-studded premiere with celebrities Ara Mina, Polo Ravales, Assunta de Rossi, Rafael Rosel, Manilyn Reynes, Jay Manalo, Megan Young, Gladys Reyes, Nadia Montenego and Mo Twister—all vying to get on the "hot seat" and go face to face with Bossing Vic.

Find out who among these celebrities gets to increase the “money tree” and gets a chance to go home a millionaire on the pilot episode of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, starting off the Weekend Winners primetime belt and shaking your Saturdays every 6 p.m., only on TV5

other note: Hey TV5! throw us bloggers an invite to join and watch the show live! hehehehee.

TV5 will air the most anticipated anime of 2009 in local free tv! TV5' Animega authority is really heated up and anime fans will be happy on the availability in free tv.
Read more below

This is a big news that it will be aired finally in Philippines television. I'll try to confirm if the anime series is in Filipino language. The premiere of the anime in our local free tv will be on May 22, 2009. So tune in to TV5 at 7:30pm. Another big anime tv revolution here in the Philippines and thanks to TV5 for getting it first air.
Governed by the theory of “Equivalent Exchange,” Alchemy says that in order to gain anything, something of equal value must be given. Anime lovers all over the country will definitely exchange anything for the Philippine free TV premiere of the most anticipated anime of 2009, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, hitting ANIMEGA viewers starting May 22 on TV5.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the second TV adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's dark fantasy manga, follows two brothers who try to use the power of alchemy to resurrect their deceased mother. With tragic consequences, the process fails and as a toll for using their taboo knowledge of alchemy, the older brother, Edward Elric loses his left leg while his younger brother, Alphonse Elric, loses his entire body. Now the two undertake a quest to restore their bodies by seeking the mythical Philosopher's Stone, even if it means using Edward’s knowledge on alchemy for the military, and finding out bitter truths and tragedies along the journey.

Hailed as no. 1 most popular anime of all time in two Japan TV web polls, Fullmetal Alchemist received multiple awards and recognitions that brought the anime to its critical fame and success in Japan, North America, and across Southeast Asia. It won five awards in the American Anime Awards in 2007, and bagged the "Animation of the Year" award (for Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shambala), “Best original story” and "Best music” in the Tokyo Anime Fair.

Be one of the first to witness the debut of 2009’s biggest anime title, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, airing every Friday starting May 22 at 7:30 p.m., only on your ultimate ANIMEGA authority, TV5.

Across this new divide made me feel better

"New Divide"
Linkin Park

I remember black skies
The lightning all around me
I remember each flash
As time began to blur
Like a startling sign
That fate had finally found me

And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve

So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the thoughts cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect the space between
Let it fill up to reach the truth and lies
Across this new divide

There was nothing inside
The memories left abandoned
There was nowhere to hide
The ashes fell like snow
And the ground caved in
Between where we were standing

And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve

So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the thoughts cross
The distance in your eyes
Across this new divide

And every loss and every lie
And every truth that you deny
And each regret and each goodbye
Was a mistake too great to hide

And your voice was all I heard
But I get what I deserve

So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the thoughts cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect the space between
Let it fill up to reach the truth and lies
Across this new divide

Across this new divide
Across this new divide

great stuff to listen over and over again, its funny that it made me feel weird but the words are very strong for a relationship break up. Listen online to Linkin Park's new song "New Divide" for the movie Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen -->

all of them will be there to channel a big shout to our youth audience about human trafficking and exploitation prevention. This is a big kick off concert event that will be followed by a nationwide campaign, that will happen in most regions and islands of the Philippines.

MTV Exit stands for (End Exploitation and Trafficking) is produced by the MTV Europe Foundation in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The event will be hosted by MTV VJ Kat Alano and actor, Epi Quizon. Baustista narrated the anti-trafficking documentary “TRAFFIC: An MTV EXIT Special” and is the MTV EXIT campaign’s ambassador in the Philippines.

To support the concert and the campaign, a group of anti-trafficking organizations headed by the Visayan Forum Foundation will march from Roxas Boulevard to the concert grounds. The march will begin at 2 p.m. and reach the Mall of Asia shortly before the 6 p.m. concert begins. Approximately 5,000 people are expected to take part. These groups will disseminate important information about human trafficking and its prevention to concert

The UN estimates that at any one time there are 2.5 million trafficking victims in the world, with the majority of these in the Asia/Pacific. Human trafficking is the second-largest illegal trade after drugs, with criminal traffickers earning over US$10 billion every year through the buying and selling of human beings. Victims are often young men and women — MTV’s demographic — who are guilty only of wanting a better life.

“I am incredibly proud to perform at this important concert,” Christian Bautista said. “I hope that through my music and involvement in this event and the MTV EXIT campaign that millions of people learn about this tragic form of slavery.”

“The power and influence of music is a great force for change — by holding this concert tour across the Philippines we are harnessing this power; using it to inform and mobilize young people in the fight against trafficking,” said Simon Goff, MTV EXIT’s Director.

The concert will be broadcast on MTV Philippines and will include live footage as well as key information about human trafficking. All MTV EXIT television programming is produced rights-free and free of charge for all broadcasters and organizations.

Let's end this and show these traffickers that we are now on the move to fight them.

“The strategic partnership with EK will expand the students’ horizon in more ways than one. Not only will we provide them the opportunity to learn about ship management, but also the chance to learn first-hand about theme park operations through Enchanted Kingdom,” enthused Ava Engel, SuperFerry’s Executive Vice President and CEO.

lights, cameras, transaction in one day

It was my first time to experience having two taping for one day, and I feel like a tv star-rock star just for minute of series of tapings few weeks ago. My first trip was in Ortigas and its for the iBlog5: 5th Philippine Blog Summit, and its a video taping material for our presentation about video blogging. Me and Kring Elenzano of manages the whole concept of the video intro, inspired from the Mac Vs. PC tv ad, and our version is Blog vs. Video Blog. Kring did the concept and script, and thanks to their studio at, we did a great video and awesome material for all bloggers who wen to the blogging summit.

That's me with the star and host of, its so weird that I acted with her and I enjoyed the time of this taping, I see Kring as a rockstar of the video blog scene, and during our acting, I got starstruck on her. That result for my lots of takes and I got conscious too much and can't help myself to look over the script over and over again. Its hard to memorize lines and do adlibs, but I learn that adlibs are not very helpful sometimes, need to stick on what's on the script. Got a "good"take with Kring and I'm proud of it haaha, feel like a grade school student here.

We finished it after a few minutes and glad to meet some bloggers inside their office who usually knows me behind my blog hahaha, got a photo op too with a blogger friend. so cool. feel like a star that day.

The following hour after my lunch, I went to Makati to have my taping again for this tv advert commercial thing for a morning show, and I even went to Starbucks just to check my email to read and memorize my script. And I got worried because my lines are so long. But at the taping, I cheated and pop up my laptop and displayed that script on the screen, I pretend that I'm busy typing, but the thing is that I'm reading my lines on the screen ahahhaha.

Jaycee of Unang Hirit was there to join with me in the tv advert shoot, and I'm very comfortable on my place because I'm sitting on a nice chair, nice office, and space in relation on what I'm doing... - marketing. yeah, I do marketing for events, but today in Toy Con 2009, I do a little marketing, since I'm more focusing on creatives and program of the event.

The advert commercial is for an ion energy drink, which I usually drink sometimes, and I'm happy to endorse it in national television, because I myself enjoy drinking it and the thing you saw on the tv commercial is very real. Yeah I drink it especially when I got so tired traveling and attending lots of meetings in Manila.

This tv advert commercial was shown last Thursday in Unang Hirit at 8:30am, I was surprised that they showed it,because I was expecting it on Monday or Friday. I just woke up with lots of text messages from friends and family who just saw the commercial on TV. Too bad that I didn't saw the commercial myself, it will be a great portfolio for acting and doing tv stuff hahaha.

I have no video of it, and since that I should post a video, just check out the final video we did for iBlog 5, about Blog Vs. Video Blog.

watch the video above.

And also at the end of that day, I got a phone call from another contact and they want me to TV commercial and this brand is BIG!. Looks like that I'll be embracing tv stuff for a while. But I just don't want it to be my career. ( I want movies! pls... ahahhaha) joke lang!
