Quirky, dark comedy series Welcome to the N-H-K follows the life of 22-year old Satou Tatsuhiro, a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a ‘hikikomori’ (social recluse). Believing there exists ‘Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK)’, a secret organization bent on creating a world full of social recluses like himself, Satou tries to break free but is too afraid to head out by himself… That is until he meets Misaki who knows him before they even met, and claims to be able to cure him of his reclusive ways.
