World of Fun (WOF), the country’s pioneer in the mall-based Family
Entertainment Center (FEC) has teamed up with Friendster, one of the most popular
online social networking websites in the country, to bring a whole new level of fun and
excitement to this year’s WOF Videoke Idol Nationwide Search.
With the help of social networking site, Friendster, WOF’s signature event now
dubbed as “Videoke Next Level, 2010 Edition” contestants will be exposed to a wider
range of audiences through the addition of online live streaming via the Videoke Idol,
2010 Edition Friendster page.
Aside from the online live streaming, this year’s contest is also open for online
voting wherein audience and WOF patrons both here and abroad can vote for their
favorite contestant. Through this, the contestant with the most number of votes per
category could win a special award, the Online Voters’ Choice Award.

June and would run until mid-July in all WOF branches in GMA, North Luzon, Central
Luzon, Southern Luzon, Bicol Region, Central Visayas, Western Visayas and the
Mindanao region.
The WOF Videoke Idol contest has been the company’s signature event since
2006. Exciting prizes from WOF and sponsors are up for grabs this year. Winners per
category will be given a one-year supply of WOF gift certificates and other prizes from
the event’s sponsors, aside from these, cash prizes also await the Grand Champion of
each category, a cash prize worth Php15, 000.00 for the Kids Category, while Php20,
000.00 for the Youth Category, and for the Senior Category, a whopping Php25, 000.00
cash prize will be given!
