It was a fun night at the Supafest Manila 2010 concert and everyone enjoyed the live music by Sean Kingston, T Pain, Kelly Rowland and Flo Rida. Also our local artist did a front act Young JV and Q-York did a rap performance as a front act of the big concert. Lights went out and DJ showed up playing some of our favorite club and dance music and then people went out of their seats and stood up and raised their hands as Sean Kingston showed up and performed his top hits and a remix version of Beautiful Girl. I just observed that most of the audience are girls and they are with their partners or boy friends and went go crazy as T Pain showed on stage did a dance showdown with his back up dancers, Win win win song made me jump and throw my hands in the air and wave that I just dont care hahaha. (more story and pics below)
It was a fun T Pain act on stage, and after his performance, his DJ went down and did a contest of crowd cheering with T Pain, and yes! T Pain got the most crowd cheer. On the next set Ms. Kelly Rowland appeared on stage wearing this light blue dress and barefooted dancing on stage, it was a sexy dress because you can see what she wears under the dress, I'm glad that the electric fan in the front behaved well during her performance, one of the best live act when she did her own rendition of Coldplay's Clocks, it was a semi-acapella with a live keyboard on the background, it was her last song that night and it's fun to see her live performing some of Destiny's Child music. Also one lucky guy was on stage and Ms. Kelly sang a love song to this guy named Raf.
And the final artist Flo Rida jumps on the stage with lots of high energy and the crowd went wild. Flo Rida is on fire and performed as its best and he even climbed over 10 feet on that stage posts and he rode on the back of the head of a bouncer and walked in the middle of the crowd. He also introduced Brianna on stage and then she performed her own tracks too. It was an awesome set and I like the crowd's cheer and crazy dance moves of the artist. This is the best dance-clubbing-concert in Manila.
I was there to take photo coverage of the event for Wilbros, the producer of the concert, and thanks to them for inviting us and to Jude Bautista of Manila Bulletin for the heads up about this photo coverage gig. I went out of the concert after Flo Rida's act as it was instructed to us by the local production staff that photographers are allowed to take photos on the duration of the 1st 30 seconds of a song, and we are allowed to shoot only for 3 songs. It was a challenge for me and I still remembered the concert photography gig I attended during the Daughtry concert, but this time I'm ready and I'm glad that my Olympus E520 did well in every live concert coverage.
