New technologies and socioeconomic trends are reshaping the retail marketplace. To support its business expansion plans, NCCC was looking for an integrated, enterprise-wide platform to achieve a single view of the customer and better manage its retail operations. After careful evaluation and analysis, NCCC decided implement a new IT system based on IBM Power Systems and running JDA retail solutions software.

By adopting the latest and most powerful technologies we can efficiently execute our corporate strategies and drive profitable growth,” said Tjader Regis, OIC – Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Department, New City Commercial Center.

“A strong and scalable retail management system is essential to NCCC's constantly growing business. We found IBM’s Power Systems solution the best choice to deploy our new retail management system. IBM Power Systems, part of the company’s smarter systems allow organizations and companies to manage vast amounts of data, handle analytic and transactional workloads up to twenty times faster than competitive systems. Power systems also scale as customer needs grow, providing efficiencies in cost and power and remaining secure and highly available. These systems are the result of IBM’s unmatched investments in research and development of nearly $6 billion annually and deep client experience, gained from thousands of customer engagements.

“Retailers in the Philippines, including those outside Metro Manila, are seeing the value of shifting to IBM Power Systems not only to improve efficiencies, cut costs and better manage their operations, but also to run advanced retail industry solutions to gain insight into business trends and improve overall competitive position," said Erwin Chuaunsu, Country Manager for Systems & Technology Group, IBM Philippines.
