7 DJs, 1 Night, 1 Island. Party from sunset 'til sunrise!
Prepare for the ultimate DJ festival on the island as emerging party organizer RP Events presents the Boracay DJ Fest. It's certainly going to be a treat for partyphiles that seven of the country's most sought after DJs will be taking control of the cans to give them a diverse range of sounds, tempos, beats and all that excitement. The premier beach party destination in the country is undoubtedly the best place to attend an extended event. Boracay has a lot of things going on during summer but one to watch out for is the unprecedented team-up of Nix Damn P, Alex Wong, Mark Nicosia, DJ Marlon, B_Cal, Ace Ramos and Funk Avy with MC Phat Jorj on the mic. It all happens on Saturday, April 30 at Club Paraw in Station 1.
“We are so happy to be able to bring these seven wonderful DJs together for one event. You know how each person has a different taste in party music? Our aim, and I believe, what we will achieve is to be able to give everyone what they want. It's a little bit of everything so it's definitely going to be a very interesting and multifaceted night,” says RP Events General Manager Pam Manansala.
The party starts at 5PM with sunset sessions and cool, sensual beats to set the tone. The sounds will then transform into something deeper and sultrier as the night progresses. And it doesn't stop until sunrise the next day when everyone's all partied out and the speakers are still blasting after-party tunes. Further, to make sure that the music stays fresh and the party remains in high spirits, the DJs will be alternating sets and no canned music will ever be played— a complete contrast from your usual club gig that starts playing a CD when it's 3 AM.
Through this event, RP Events champions the local club scene by providing partygoers music courtesy of homegrown talents. The all-Filipino cast of the Boracay DJ Fest come from different backgrounds with different tastes and they play at different clubs all around Metro Manila and beyond. By gathering them and making them headliners, without an international act, the RP Events Team establishes these individuals as the go-to crew for a high-octane, high-energy, high-fidelity clubbing experience.
