If you're a fan of Winter Sonata, the korean series that makes a lot of Asian people cry and also gave a launch here in the Philippines as "Endless Love 2", it will be on Animax but what makes the series special, it's already an anime. Winter Sonata will be launching on September 20, 6:50 pm on your favorite anime channel Animax and I'm so excited to review this one. To be honest, I'm a fan of the live series which I've bought the original live series of winter Sonata (that's with english sub of course) and of course this is a big deal to me and I guess the biggest question with the anime version is, Can we feel the same feeling as the live series did to the Asian people?
As an initial review that I will be basing on what I've seen on the trailer, I can safely say that they've done a great job on the anime version. I can feel the same feeling that may compare to the live scene. On the OST part, well they've put the original opening OST which I've been played and sang before. I'm really curious if they will include the "My Memory of Him" and "My Memory of Her" on the anime series?
As an ending remarks, a great story will be the key to grab the attention of the anime audience and I will bet with this one that it will be a hit. :)

Animax Presents Winter Sonata Animated Series
One would never forget his or her first true love. Some would even choose to rekindle the painful memories just to relive it but what if in a twist of fate, the person you've shared your love will forget about you? Would you fight for him?
For Yoo-Jin, the heroine of the hit drama series "Winter Sonata", reliving the pain of the lost love is worth living for.
This September 20, 2011 - 6:50 pm, Animax (SkyCable Ch46/Dream Satellite TV Ch34) presents the timeless drama that introduced the "Korean Wave" to the world in exquisite animation for the first time in Southeast Asia. The original drama from 2002 captivated not only the fans from the region but also in far-flung places including Uzbekistan, Hawaii, Egypt and Tanzania. Indeed, Winter Sonata's touching tale of lost love transcended borders and made many around the world into die-hard fans of Korean Entertainment and pop culture.
Original Cast Come Together for the Winter Sonata Animated Series
Remaining true to the original drama, the Winter Sonata anime series reunited 23 of their original cast to dubbed their character on the animated series which includes the leading cast Bae Yong Joon (Kang Junsang) and Choi Ji Woo (Yoo-Jin).
Fans of the Original Winter Sonata live action drama will relish the anime series characters that were drawn with unprecedented likeness to the real actors and actresses. This is especially true for the well-loved Bae Yong Joon whose talent management agency Key East was involved in the anime production to push the limits of likeness of Bae's anime character.
In addition on reliving the series, fans can also look forward on the conclusion of the anime series that will feature a new live action drama epilogue that's not aired in the original drama series.
Animax's premier of the Winter Sonata anime series coincides with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original drama. In Korea, a series of live Winter Sonata musicals is set to be staged in Seoul from 27 September 2011 to 18 March 2012 to resell or retell the heart wrenching tale. Yook Suk Ho, the director of the season Korean dramas "Autumn in my Heart", "Winter Sonata", "Summer Scent" and "Spring Waltz" will going to manage the said musical.
