Smoper
Korean Chicken is a new fast food in BGC, I want to call it the chicken fast
food because they serve spicy and flavored chicken and also Korean food. I heard
that this fast food is big blockbuster in BGC because of their affordable price
and awesome promos – imagine… eat all you can chicken and they offer also beer!
Office people are one of the avid customers here in Smoper BGC branch, and it’s
the 1st branch here in the country and also 1st branch outside South Korea. They
are now opening a 2nd branch in Katipunan Ave. infront of Ateneo.
Smoper
is a popular fast food store in South Korea, they operate 800 branches all over
the Korea and now they are here in the Philippines, because we don’t have here a
Korean fast food and offer a different take of spicy flavored
chicken.
Main offerings are fried chickens… wings, thigh and breast part,
the food style here is a much different and unlike those chicken stores we have
here in Manila. The cooking is the same, using our local chickens and adding
flavors and spice that came from their mother branch in South Korea.
We
attended a food tasting and there they launched a new food set – all Korean
food… to their menu.
It’s the same menu like in Korea…all chickens…but they
added Korean food.
let
me paste a snip of some info about Smoper --- snips begin -
According to owner Jieun Bae, who moved from Korea to Manila more
than five years ago, the sauces are “all from Korea.” Jieun, a Korean national
married to a Filipino, adds, “That’s why Smoper Chicken is very unique because
you have more choices.”
Having more choices doesn’t mean Smoper Chicken
isn’t friendly to the budget-conscious. You’d be surprised to discover that all
offerings at Smoper Chicken are reasonably priced.
For instance, the one-piece chicken (drumstick, thigh, or breast part)
meal that comes with a cup of rice and a drink is priced at P95, while the
two-piece chicken meal is at P140.
Fans of Korean food can find their favorite Korean dishes here as well.
Smoper Chicken also serves the best-selling japchae (P150), or sweet potato
noodles mixed with vegetables, sesame seeds, and slices of chili; and bulgogi
(P150), which is marinated beef or chicken.
For a lighter fare, you can try the Popcorn Chicken, Chicken Skin, or
Chicken Sandwich. For bigger groups that like sharing, Smoper Chicken has these
options: Regular, Large, Family-sized servings.Visit Smoper Chicken now to find
out why Koreans love this fried chicken joint so much.
-snips end-

A
must try here in Smoper is their curry flavored chicken.
It’s a different
kind of curry, but the aroma of the curry will just tease you but the flavorings
are a much different, the best to enjoy the curry chicken is to dip it to its
curry sauce.
the curry sauce and flavor are not that strong or spicy.
Its just right..and kids can enjoy it.

When they say spicy…. Korean spicy is soooo hot. at first I can
tell that my mouth can stand the chili of the flavor but after some bite, my
mouth surrendered hahahaha. but its best to have an ice cold iced tea nearby.
You can also request to the Smoper crew if you want a lesser spice or super hot
hot spice flavor for your chicken.
