We started this hotel staycation habit in my family after my son who was 8 months old that time suffered from dust allergies and coughs after the big bang of new year, our city was covered with smog from firecrackers and even if we stayed inside an aircon room at home, our son still catches those dust and smog and he got some trouble in breathing, after that incident we promised that we should book a hotel and celebrate our new year in a nice hotel. Our first hotel staycation taught us many things – from organizing the things we need, experience a holiday celebration in a hotel, enjoy delicious food prepared by top chefs, and no more worries every new year.
Btw, the word “staycation” means having a nice vacation and not going far from your home, you can spend your vacation in a hotel located in the heart of the city or just stay at home. It can be an overnight stay or weekend stay. It’s a way of relaxing and rejuvenating yourself after a stressful weekday, and having your own staycation will help you to take a break.
Going back to our staycation adventure… After our 1st staycation in the city, I learned that staying in a hotel with malls nearby is very convenient, we enjoyed staying late outside and go home in our hotel room and not require us to travel back home after the mall hopping bec. we live outside the city, In our short staycation we enjoy the hotel’s amenities like the resto, pool, kids playground, gym and spa. I told my wife that if we plan in having an out of town trip, I suggest that we start here in the city first, and then after so many staycation adventures we have like celebrating new year, birthdays, holidays and even getting hotel staycation perks from my blogging stunt, we noticed that our son super enjoyed the staycation experience and its fun to see him being comfortable and being exposed to a hotel environment at an early age.
