Its
fun to see original video content that are a fruit of YouTube are now playing
offline and now plays inside a provincial bus, I think the contractor or
provider of this TV inside the bus generate some profit from advertisers, I’m
surprised to see 4 tv sets inside the ErJohn bus liner, I hop on it during my
Cavite-Manila travel and I went in agony when Jamich videos are playing (sorry
guys, I’m not a fan of their romantic tandem), I think it was a 30 minute video
presentation of the history of Jamich or some kind of short film with never
ending smooching.
Their video plays with no sound, thank goodness, But
after the video, another surprised came in because I saw Mikey Bustos videos
playing next, I really want to request to the bus driver to pump up the volume,
but I started to laugh even if I’m watching his video in silent mode. After
Mikey, its Bogart the Explorer, another laugh trip video, it was very
entertaining to watch it without audio. I was hoping for more videos, but I
think the TV powered ads is playing 2 videos per YouTube sensation, I caught the
three videos playing, but I’m not sure if there will be more like videos from
Ramon Bautista, Petra Mahalimuyak, Moymoy Palaboy and etc. I’m not sure also if
the Youtubers were paid in using their videos as boilers or loopers of the TV
powered ads.
But for me, online video content are now breaking the
barriers, making their way in offline and now broadcasting solo without the need
of internet.
I also spotted some EDSA bound buses who host this tv
powered ads and playing the same videos.
I say yes to Mikey and Bogart’s
video because they are fun videos with edutainment or infotainment value. I hope
they host more videos that are educational, lets say, a video blog of history of
EDSA or about our country. or a docu films. oks yun di ba?
