Here’s a new tech news from our friends at KakaoTalk, they sent to us a news release about the 3 new features of Kakaotalk, I’m really glad that they are listening from their user’s advice and suggestions,
Ok here are the three new features.
1. DO NOT DISTURB MODE
The KakaoTalk audio notification is cute and nice, but sometimes it becomes annoying when people from your chat network are very active and talkative, thanks to this new feature that you can now disable the notifications with a single click of your finger. It will save also some of your battery juice and help you to get more alone time and me time.
To activate the Do Not Disturb feature, tap More > Settings > Do Not Disturb, or you can access this via your notification panel. Once activated, an icon will appear on your status bar to notify users of your inactivity. To disable the Do Not Disturb mode, simply turn your KakaoTalk push notifications back on with a tap.
2. PAPER AIRPLANE MODE
Sometimes our message are having a hard time to fly over to your chat mate’s mobile device, this is a result of a poor connectivity from your wifi network or data mobile network. KakaoTalk now saves our time to do more other things with this Paper Airplane Mode, your message will be on queue if ever connectivity is a bit crappy, and it will sent right away when your device connects to a better network.
The paper airplane can be seen near your message, also the unread counter can be viewable near your message, means that the message is not yet read by the receiver.
3. UNREAD COUNTER
The unread counter is very important, we also see this as good feature in Facebook and now the feature is being adapted by KakaoTalk too. The unread counter will help you to know if the receiver of your message have not yet reach you or read your previous message. This will help both KakaoTalk users to communicate better.
