I
spotted this scene in Tagaytay City last April 9, 2015, there was this big
motorcycle convention and also preparation for the Guinness World Record for the
largest simultaneous motorcycle burnout here in Tagaytay City. The event was
organized by Ropali Motorcycles, Kymco, FDR and History Channel. Also for the
motorcycle convention it was organized by a motorcycle club.
I was
excited to see this event and then I learned that the main event is on April 11.
I only got the time to visit the site on April 10 and here I saw an eye candy
display of big bikes, sports bike and those bikes that can do a cross country
travel.
The event was a success, the PH got the record as stated here in
the article of GMA NEWS
The Philippines set another world record on
Saturday, this time for the most number of people involved in a
motorcycle-related stunt.
Some 300 people took part in a simultaneous
motorcycle burnout on Saturday in Tagaytay City, Guinness World Records
said.

The bad side of this event was that we lived for 3 nights with lots of noise
pollution and disturbance coming from the event in the oval of Tagaytay City. It
was hard to sleep for 3 nights due to the non stop music and loud emcee coming
from their speakers. The sound echoes everywhere and even we close our windows,
we can still hear the noise pollution. I wonder how many residents and
staycationers got disturbed for three days?
It was a bad day for us to
have a staycation for 3 days.
But I congratulate all participants and
the organizers for carrying our flag in setting this world record.
Next
time, they can just drop the motorcycle convention for 3 days and just stick to
a one day of setting the world record.
