We always celebrate our New Year in Tagaytay City, because we stayed away from the firecrackers smog during the new year’s eve and it’s a health hazard already to us and also to our 5 year old kid.
Its also fun to watch all the fireworks display around us, lots of hotels and exclusive villages around our home blast their fireworks display all together at around 11pm-12am, the sky and horizon turned into like a big bang with lots of colors and noise.
Every new year celebration, its funny that I always encounter some bad luck in my body, during our 1st new year celebration in Tagaytay, I accidentally wounded my right knee, then the 2nd year, I experienced “putok batok” for a week, and then this year 2016, I experienced this sore foot ache after going out of the cold and foggy night of Dec 31, I think my foot got the ache after being exposed in freezing conditions, but I was okay after the 12 midnight celebration. Too bad I didn’t got a chance to join with my wife and son to watch the fireworks of Robinsons Summit Ridge hotel.
Back in our home, my wife bought this PHP1k disco lights with mp3 dock. We use it for own disco house and I played some songs that was requested by Ashton, our playlist includes some songs from We the kings, Dawin, Star Wars Cantina song by Richard Cheese, Star Wars theme song, Back to the Future song, Justin Bieber, I Fight Dragons and Ghostbusters song.
We dance all night til we got tired hahaha.
My wife’s sister also celebrated this New Year in Australia and this is their dinner table
