TCL is 35 years old, and we didn't see it coming, and I thought that TCL is just around 10 years old, because I've been introduced to this TV brand when I saw that a news network uses TCL as their news monitor.
When I was about to buy my own and 1st LCD tv, my choice was TCL, because its a lot more affordable than the mainstream brands. I've failed to get one, because my other half wants the mainstream TV brand.
Its a dream for me to own a TCL LED TV, but then....its funny that TCL chose me:

Inline with the 35th anniversary of TCL, they like to inform everyone that they are launching a web series featuring stories of different athletes, and this web series is in partnership with ESPN.
TCL and ESPN together they've produced a 4 part web series -- INSPIRING BONDING MOMENTS, its about the untold stories of athletes and their sport, each episode features an athlete per country, so expect stories from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Simone Rota
For the Philippines episode, they've featured Philippines-born football player Simone Rota, its about his story about his search for his root and biological parents.
We learned that Simone Rota was adopted and came from the orphanage -- Buklod Kalinga, he was brought there by his birth parents and left without any word. Later on he was adopted by these Italian couple and lived and grew up in Milan.
It was on 2014 that Simone went back to Buklod Kalinga, to find his real parents, but when failed to find them, he focused on teaching the kids how to play football and help the orphanage in a food program
TCL Donates sports equipment
As part of the 35th anniversary of TCL, they've donated lots of sporting equipment for the Buklod Kalinga orphanage, this will help the kids learn to play sports and be inspired to be strong, happy and not loose hope.
