Here's a different and much fun Halloween event for you and for your kids. Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila presents the Goblin Run 2017: A Sofitel Halloween Fair this coming October 29, 2017 at the Harbor Garden Tent. The Halloween fair is in collaboration with one of the country's leading running event organizer, Thinksportsph.
The Goblin Run event is also a charity event and this will benefit the children of Virlaine Foundation.
“Last year, the success of the Sofitel Manila Half Marathon was able to raise fund for Virlanie Foundation. We are pleased that meaningful endeavors like these promote camaraderie and help enable the young, less fortunate children of Manila. Me and my family love Halloween costume events and this Goblin Run will challenge us on how we can come up a nice costume that can fit for a 3k fun run and also do the outdoor challenges at the Goblin Run site for kids.
Im sure the costume that we did from previous years are not comfy, so I have to think other costume concept for the Goblin Run
Here are some details of the Goblin Run
The Goblin Run will feature 2 categories at 3K and 5K with start and end points at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. Gunstart is at 5:00pm for 5K category and 5:10pm for 3K category. The fun commences with a Halloween-themed foam cannon as the run takes participants through a panoramic view of metropolitan Manila of the CCP Complex. Exciting obstacle courses like inflatables, water cannon and net under crawl await runners in this thrilling Halloween fair.
The excitement continues at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila Harbor Garden Tent where fun treats, goblin-mansion themed photobooth, face painting activities and special games are in store for kids and kids-at-heart. Come dressed in your most elaborate Halloween costume and win a special prize.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila and Thinksportsph invite you to participate in this enchanting and exhillerating Halloween fair perfect for families and wellness enthusiasts. Online registration starts on the 28th of September until the 22nd of October while in-store registration starts on the 6th until the 28th of October 2017 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila and GNC branches at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Trinoma, SM Aura, SM Manila, and Glorietta 4.
Registration fees are at Php600 for 3K category and Php700 for 5K category. All participants shall receive event race bibs, T-shirt, finisher’s medal and loot bag and will have an access to the Halloween Fair. An assortment of exciting raffle prizes is in store for some of our top running enthusiasts.
