We're so excited to see the new Huawei Nova 2i smartphone, it is the 1st ever device to have 4 camera. That's 2 camera at the front and 2 camera at the rear side of the Huawei smartphone. We know that Huawei P9 with dual lens is one of the early best for mobile photography, for my experience with a hands on with their Huawei P9, Im amazed on its color clarity, bokeh effect and crisp photo quality taken by the dual rear lens on a Huawei P9.
But what else we can get if it has 4 cameras? Huawei now has an answer to wishful thinkers, now they have here the 4 camera on a Huawei Nova 2i but the difference is that its not Leica camera tech on it, but it performs great as it was like from their P and Mate series.
The Huawei Nova 2i got its firstFullView display tech on its 5.9 inches screen. Its a first to a Huawei smartphone model to have a much bigger and wider screen on a small body.
The Four camera on a Huawei Nova 2i performs like the same P10 and Mate, it can do a good Bokeh shots, moving photos, self toning flash tech for a studio quality lighting, and crispier and cleaner photo selfie to any low light condition.
The front camera has a 13MP and 2MP selfie and the rear camera has a 16MP and 2MP. For Bokeh lovers this is a perfect phone for you.
For me, who love taking photos of items and food, and want to have a much more focus on the subject and less background, this Huawei Nova 2i is a must have for bloggers and content creators.

We have here is the Graphite Black body.

Each lens performs different. The bigger MP lens takes photo of the subject and while the low MP lens capture the background and it serves as the one who do the bokeh feature for you.
But if you turn off the bokeh feature, only one camera will function to capture a flat photo.
No buttons at the front side of the Huawei Nova 2i. Because it is now a FullView screen display, but there's a Finger unlock scanner at the rear side for unlock features of the Huawei Nova 2i.
Here's my 1st try to use the bokeh effect
Impressive to see how Huawei got a version of a dual lens on the front side. Most Huawei smartphone like the P series got it only for the rear camera but has the same or higher MP, for example -- Huawei P9 with 12MP dual rear lens and the Huawei P10 with 20MP and 12MP rear lens.
I think its the first Huawei to have a dual lens for the front camera too.

Rear camera -- I like the bokeh effect for the rear, in photography, we call it.. basag na basag yung background. The focus on the subject is much clearer and crispier.
Focus on subject is the best feature of the Huawei Nova 2i. For selfie and photography hobbyist, you can get the Huawei Nova 2i for a much lower price. But dont expect with a higher quality like the P and Mate series, because the Huawei Nova 2i is built for mid range but performs closer to Huawei's flagship.
