Balik Pinas Balik Saya officially launched to invite Filipinos abroad to come back home

Balik Pinas Balik Saya -- I’ve heard of the tourism campaign initiative by the local travel operators in Pampanga last February and March when we joined the trip in Lubao, Pampanga for the international event of hot air balloons. Then I’ve heard it again when we got invited to tour around Pampanga together with the local travel operators. Then I understand that it was a tourism campaign that will soon be riding the same waves of our government’s tourism promotion to help boost tourism in our country.

That’s good actually, the government and the private sector are now working together to help promote the Philippines in lots of different way, they operate in different way -- via traditional and the non traditional way of promotion -- it can be on print, tv, radio and now we also have digital- which is the main strength of Balik Pinas Balik Saya, because they target our OFW and Filipinos abroad to come back home to enjoy the beautiful land and seascape of the Philippines once more with their family, friends and relatives.

Our friend Jeoff Solas who was so active in this tourism campaign, moved a lot of muscles to do the impossible of bringing in more partners for the campaign and now they finally produced a theme song and also invited famous personalities onboard to help widen the awareness of the Balik Pinas Balik Saya campaign.

They’ve just finished the official launched in Resorts World Manila, and they also launched its official website -

The website is ongoing development and when you visit it you’ll see some of our blog and vlog stories posted there, as a guide for OFW, local and foreign tourist who want to visit the Philippines.

There are also hotel and resort recommendation, airlines, cruise and also tour packages.

At the event launch, I just missed the first part of the program, but then I was on time to watch some musicians and performers that were invited to spice up the evening here at the Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila.

More singers on stage singing the classic songs from the yester-years of Philippine entertainment. The song reminded me about my grandmother who sang songs when she put me to bed.

Resorts World Manila’s Archie Nicasio on stage sharing us a keynote that RWM is always here to welcome everyone in the Philippines.

We received this limited edition Balik Pinas Balik Saya 2019 planner. The trivia here is that the planner creator is the same maker of the Starbucks planner. Wow!

Here I met the face of the Balik Pinas Balik Saya tourism campaign -- the guy is Kimpoy Feliciano, a social media celebrity, and here I learned that he is based in New Zealand and he visit the Philippines to be with his family, relatives and friends, and sometimes for work.
