“Crazy for Crocs” wraps up successful run with victory party

The Crazy for Crocs campaign has come to the end of its successful three month run, and All Condition Gear Phil. Inc, the exclusive distributor of Crocs footwear in the country, is set to hold a culminating activity to be held at the Activity Pod in Bonifacio High Street, Fort Bonifacio.

Launched as a promotion in support of the 24 Crocs outlet stores in the country, the campaign centered on the Crazy for Crocs Online Video Challenge, an interactive multimedia competition that invited everyday people to become “internet superstars” by performing Crocs-themed tasks and documenting them on video, and uploading their D.I.Y works on YouTube. The contest—which awarded Canon PowerShot cameras to the winners of weekly challenges and 100,000 pesos to monthly winners—drew enthusiastic response from both budding video makers and YouTube fans, and generated plenty of buzz on radio, print, and online media.
“With the Online Video Challenge, we were looking for an innovative way of using today’s technology in showcasing amateur talents as well as promoting our brand,” said Franco Limjuco, VP for Marketing of All Condition Gear Phil. Inc. “And from the response we’ve received, and the number of superb videos we’ve seen throughout the contest, we can definitely say that the campaign is a success!”

The three monthly winners of the challenge—Jeric Herrera, Jamielyn Ira Dy and Kimberly Tan—have already received their 100k checks on Magic 89.9’s popular “Boys Night Out” program, and will have their winning entries showcased at the victory party.

In addition to the video challenge, the campaign also featured a grand raffle, which entitled customers to one raffle coupon for every Crocs pair purchased. Up for grabs were several Samsung LCD TV’s and Canon Camcorders, along with the grand prize of a brand new Honda Jazz. The winners have already been drawn, and will receive their prizes in a special awarding ceremony at the victory party.

The victory party, to be hosted by DJ Mojo Jojo of Magic 89.9, promises to be a great celebration for all the winners, and should serve as a fitting conclusion to a successful campaign.
