First Kayaking trail in the Philippines by the Friendship Kayak team - dinner photo coverage

Singaporean Khoo Swee Chiow and Filipino Buzzy Budlong of the Friendship Kayak Team just finished an 88 day kayaking trail after paddling 3,025 km across 24 provinces and through 6 typhoon, the duo just made the First Philippine trail for kayaking. They paddled from Sarangani in Mindanao to Davao del Sur and Oriental, then Leyte and Puro Island, then Bohol, Cebu, Siargao, then Pangasinan and Pagudpod.

The expedition is part of the Department of Tourism and ROX effort to promote world class athleticism and adventure tourism. At the dinner event, Swee Chio and Buzzy shared their scary stories when their kayak capsized during a battle of nature forces of a typhoon and powerful and giant waves on their 87th day, they were saved by fishermen patroling the wild open sea, and after wards they completed the expediton on day 88.
