Mario Maurer For Penshoppe Fan Conference was held at the PICC Plenary Hall, there were around 2,000 fans attended the 1st ever fan conference in the country, the main feature of the show is for the fans to see Mario Maurer and get a chance to meet him in person, the set up is like a concert and felt that it was a Mario Maurer and Penshoppe variety show. Pan-Asian girl group Blush performed two songs that day and Its their 2nd visit here in Manila, It was great to see them alive and kicking performing their hit single “Undivided”, Angeli, our pinoy member in Blush have her own fans screaming in the venue, while me and Myke are screaming to Ji Hae hahahah.
Thai actor-host-model Utt showed up on stage and he introduces to us about how Penshoppe started and we also saw pictures of their endorsers and models since 1991, and I just remembered the word “Club Pen”, it was a word that I encountered when I was in high school. Too bad that I can’t recognize those Club Pen models on the photos. The main feature for Penshoppe is that they introduce the new logo of Penshoppe, they just removed the black color and convert the background into white, but still the same Penshoppe logo, Alexis Mendoza, Brand Director of Penshoppe revealed that us and he mentioned that the new concept store of Penshoppe just opened in SM Mall of Asia, The new concept store and logo will apply to other existing Penshoppe stores and the 1st store to have the new logo is in SM Mall of Asia.
There are some celebs spotted at the event, and they are the new generation Club Pen models, Victor Basa and Solenn Heusaff are there to host some of the segments. The main event is the appearance of Mario Maurer in front of his pinoy fans, Im so happy that I got a GOOD PHOTO SHOT of him when he first entered the stage and look at the crowd and I CANT BELIEVE THAT HE IS LOOKING AT MY CAMERA!!! ZOMG!!
Utt joined Mario on stage to help him talk with the fans, there are lots of screaming girls all over the PICC, many of them flashes their fan signs, flying kisses, heart signs and long distance hugs. They do the dougie dance, thanks to a guy fan who brought a sign that he can teach Mario to do dougie, the 1st fan to be lucky and got a chance to dance with Mario on stage, and ohhh Mario dance the dougie too.
Mario Maurer was joined by Joyce Ramirez of PR Asia, the person who manages the whole thing and make it happen and the one responsible for bringing in many top celebrities here in our country, and one of them is the Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, who visited us and become a Penshoppe model and endorser. Joyce did a short one on one interview with Mario and then Mario got some tips on some short Filipino words and he shouted “Khumhustah khayo lhahat!” sounds like that.. and every girls and also guys screamed again. Then Mario told us that he loves Penshoppe and he likes the clothes and hope everyone can support it, then they showed a behind the scenes of Mario Maurer doing a photo shoot for Penshoppe, which triggered again a lot of screaming fan girls.

Mario selected 10 fans from the audience area and they a got a chance to hug Mario on stage and have a group photo with him, at the end of the show, Mario Maurer shouted ‘Maganda kayo lahat!, hope you can support my upcoming movie with Erich Gonzales, it will be shot here in Philippines and in Thailand, thank you so much for supporting me, I really appreciate it… I love you! “
