Leighton Meester attends Penshoppe show at Philippine Fashion Week 2012 (photo coverage)

Leighton Meester, American actress and singer, also popular as the character named Blair Waldorf from a hit teen tv series "Gossip Girl", she surprised us all people who attended the Penshoppe fashion show for the Philippine Fashion Week 2012 Holiday Collection, She showed up infront of the runaway after she was introduced by Alex Mendoza, Brand Director of Penshoppe. Alex informed us that Leighton Meester is a new addition for their Penshoppe All Stars endorsers that includes Mario Maurer, Ed Westwick, Zack Efron and Ian Somerhalder. Leighton Meester is the muse for Penshoppe All Star, the only female in the group as of now.

I didn't watch a single episode of Gossip Girl, but I know her character in the movie "Monte Carlo", I really like her there and having a reddish darker hair for the movie, at first, I was expecting to see her in a black hair and I only imagine her cute character in Monte Carlo. She showed up on stage and we got stunned to see her and Mario Maurer both infront of the runaway. Majority of the audience inside hall 2 are girls, so everyone screamed when Alex introduced Leighton, and then when everyone saw Mario on stage too, the scream went double.

Leighton walked on the runaway after the presentation of Penshoppe's holiday collection. Mario Maurer escorted Leighton on stage and then he let her walked alone towards the end of the runaway with Alex Mendoza, he greeted us and talked for some minutes and showed her excitement here in the Philippines and she's happy to be part of Penshoppe All Stars. Mario Maurer followed Leighton at the other side of the runaway and then escorted Leighton back to the front of the runaway. Its funny to see Leighton walk on the runaway because she acted as a model and doing a cat walk on stage, I took a lot of photos and saw that she really enjoyed the show and proud to be part of it.

Fireworks exploded and fire sparks light up the whole stage and everyone are still screaming and busy taking photos and throwing flying kiss to Mario Maurer and Leighton Meester. I forgot to breathe that time because I shoot non stop trying to get a nice shot of Leighton Meester looking at me and directly to my camera. Our seat is the best in the house, infront of the stage and we were there at the media section, I'm glad that I sat there and met Camille of Spot.ph, we got busy for the entire show taking photos and exchange comments about the show. I heard reviews from other people and mentioned that the Penshoppe fashion show is the most anticipated and must attend show for Philippine Fashion Week 2012. They gave a big noise when they released info that Leighton will be there, many people are looking for Ian Somerhalder,but I learned that Ian left the country already after doing a fan press con in SM MOA a day ago.

Penshoppe created a new trend for their brand by inviting international celebs to be part of a campaign for their latest fashion collection, not only wearing it and appear on billboard or store posters, but also coming here in the Philippines to greet us and also showed to the world that it is more FUN here in the Philippines.

I'm still having a hang over after the show and it was like watching a 2 hour concert of Lady Gaga ahahahhah. Thanks to Penshoppe and PR Asia Worldwide for the non stop support for bloggers in inviting us to their events. I'm now interested for the next thing for Penshoppe, as of now, all eyes targets the new gimmick, if there's a muse, they should have a prince or princess. I super enjoyed this show and this is the best PFW show ever in my three years of attendance.
