"the recent e-Services conference is a strong endorsement of that partnership between the Philippin government and the private sector" - David Barrett, chairman of the European Advisory Board of the International Association of Outsourcing.
The e-Services is a big part of our industry, and because of this event, the market and jobs here helped many Filipinos and attract a lot of work that will be outsourced here in some companies. Even that we are experiencing some global economic problems, helping one another and remove the competitive issues in one another will help the industry survive and stay healthy as we want to become. It will converge a lot of major key players in the ICT and BPO field, and the learning and sharing of knowledge to one another will bring major success for the e-service community and industry.
"One of the lessons to learn for my country is what's being done in this country, what I saw during this conference, and what I mean is this is about the collaboration of business and the govenrment, and I think the Philippines can be an example not only to Russia but also to other countries." - Dr. Alexis Sukharev, president of Russian firm Auriga and a participant in the e-Services 2008.
