Photo Session 9 : Cotton the Puppy

Cotton is the name of our new pet puppy here at home. I just woke up in the morning few days ago and this puppy just came out under the table. Cotton was brought here by Lace's auntie and I think he will stay here and another addition to the animal kingdom here in Cavite. Cotton is so fat, white fluffy fur and loves to run around the living room. He stays outside sleeping in Creamo's bed, now I know why Creamo is so pissed off coz he was transferred to another location near Mocha (they are our Siamese cats).

Here's a cutesy photo session using my Olympus E520 dslr camera with Cotton. Cute di ba? I know he will turn into this big monster in the next few months ehehehe.

and here's a funny scene were he cried a lot after he found out that the step is too high for him hahahaha.

Got a great time and eating some great food at the 6th floor of Ascott Makati. I didn't even know that there's a restaurant in there called Cafe on the 6th, its not just an ordinary hotel restaurant, all I can say that is is a normal restaurant and not the typical hotel restaurant that charges you a double price that some hotel restaurant that we know in the metro, but here in Cafe on the 6th, the price of the food is just normal and affordable and it is open to all who wants to eat there or maybe have your meeting or maybe a nice great date with your partner. The place is nice and quiet, there's a guy on the side playing a piano and also sings for you, really impressive di ba?

so let's move on to the food we have and share to you some pics inside Cafe on the 6th. Hope this blog post will help everyone to see what's inside, and because of this experience I'm no longer afraid entering Ascott Makati ahhahaha, coz its my first time in there. ( more below)

The place is perfect if you want to hang out or get a nice quiet venue for you to recharge your creative energies, we joked around that this is a perfect hide out for bloggers.

connecting my tattoo

connecting at Mary Grace Cafe BHS

I’m using the Globe Tattoo Broadband internet stick ever since I got my own unit and that’s the GI JOE : Rise of the Cobra , a special edition Globe Tattoo Broadband New Skins version. Been using it for a while and tested its connectivity in all over the place in Manila. I just observed that there are some spots in Manila that has good connection, while other areas have some slow connection. But I know that the wireless broadband really depends on the area where you are staying and it's like a mobile phone that requires a good signal in some location. I used the Globe Tattoo internet stick every time my laptop needs an internet connection and I use it to check my email, post some updates in my blog, and check some updates in my Facebook. I can tell if a connection is good after viewing it’s status on the Globe Tattoo Broadband dialer program. Really helpful in connecting to the internet when you need them and its workable for me especially during the Typhoon Ondoy where there was network outage in Cavite and Pasig (a day after the flood). (read more below)

I also found out that you can change your network and the rate you pay whenever you go online. You can choose a time based browsing for P5 per 15 minutes, that’s good for surfing and downloading, or you can choose a per KB charging for 15 centavos per KB, best for quick check of your email or check for information on Google. That’s a helpful tip if you are using your own Globe sim, some sims are set on per kb default, while the new sim like the Globe Tattoo is set on time based rate. I think some users experienced this on why they are charged by per kb, try check the status of your network by texting STATUS to 1111.

And another thing I just found out is they are running a contest in designing your own skin, Check out Globe Tattoo Broadband Gallery
and you will also find the mechanics there.
That’s P5,000 reward for the best skin design.

It’s kinda weird for me that I need to go back to their websites and read a lot of information about their product. It is really helpful to log in and read all FAQ and tips about the sim and the internet stick so that we can have a better way of enjoying it and I’ve learned a lot and hope this info can be shared to everyone.

wow! Rhian Ramos

I was at the Magnet Cafe in BHS for the myPLDT Watchpad launching event with the bloggers, and got a great time hanging out with fellow bloggers doing some singing act at the Rockeoke program. I saw Rhian Ramos at the event and got dragged by Nuffnang's Eric Ramirez to go to the terrace area of the cafe and have a photo with her. Here's her photo with me before the program started.

Really great to meet him ( for the 4th time) not sure if he can remember me hahahaha. It was a chance to do my paparazzi move and away from super fans. I remember that his parents went to our house years ago and bought our cabinets when me and my sis moved out from a large house after our family migrated to the US.

The image “” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

more photos in my album at bloggers dinner after witnessing the battle for Terra

I just got into a nice and comedy dinner night out with our blogger friends after watching the movie premire night of Battle for Terra at SM City North Edsa Cinema 7. We just experienced a 1 1/2 hour 3D and CGI animation experience about survival and importance of life. It is a nice movie especially when you want to teach your kids about life and understanding people's responsibility and having an equal treatment to each other even that you are living in another place and time.

Marina was the venue of our dinner and happy to see everyone there, Paolo got a giddy yap moment ordering some beers, RG showed us his new Sony DSLR camera, news and update to each other without the need of logging to the internet. Hope we can more dinner and laughs in upcoming days.. hmm I heard we will be meeting all again to that Del monte event, oh that's tomorrow pala hahaha.. ok kita kits uli
