Above is the big moment of our life, Lace gave birth to our big and healthy baby boy Ashton in Medical City, and I'm glad that Sony lend their Sony HDR XR550 Hard Disc HD camcorder to me, a few days before Lace to go labor,and I'm amazed on the High Definition quality of the video, I decided to lessen the HD in the camcorder and compressed the video using a video converter and Windows Movie maker in order for me to upload the video in Youtube, because the HD file is so big! and 10 min. of video already reaches around 1GB, that's super High def!

Here's the Sony HDR XR550, its a lightweight and small camcorder, easy to use and you really need to read the manual first if you want to understand more on how to store the media files in its hard disc or memory card, photos and videos that are stored are in separate option, it manages the media files in order to prevent data loss. The LCD frame is very crisp and clear and controls in its menu are inputted via a touch screen.

Its my first time to use a camcorder with HD and this is much better to use than the V8 tape, mini divi, or DVDR camcorders, you can grab the media files quickly and transfer it to your PC via a USB. According to the Sony.com.ph website this cam is priced at P89,999.
