Starbucks VIA Ready Brew will be available tomorrow September 15, 2010 in all branches of Starbucks Coffee in the Philippines or shall we say, available nationwide. Starbucks VIA Ready Brew is like an instant coffee, and they have perfected and developed a way on how to transform a roast of coffee into a mirco ground coffee that we can simply add hot water in our cup and enjoy drink it, the Starbucks way.
Our country is lucky to carry the new and popular instant coffee product of Starbucks, Philippines is the 3rd country to have this Starbucks VIA outside the US land, the countries are UK and Japan. The fun part about this Starbucks VIA is simply add it in a hot water, stir and then enjoy the nice aroma and taste of a 100 percent natural and roasted Arabica coffee, and you can enjoy Starbucks coffee anytime and anywhere with the Starbucks VIA. They did a taste test on us at the launching event this morning and I tasted brand B which have strong and smooth coffee taste and I love the smell of the aroma, and then we have the brand A, which have a lesser coffee kick and taste is not like coffee, so I got a wild guess that the VIA is the brand B, and then they revealed later on that the Starbucks VIA is on brand B, while the brand A is the Starbucks fresh brewed coffee, I was amazed on the taste of it and Its hard to tell and my taste buds are kinda confused, the Starbucks VIA is good than the fresh brewed, I just don’t know, but I love the brewed coffee of Starbucks and this taste tests beat it and make me love more for the Starbucks VIA. My big question is that… will they serve the Starbucks VIA in their coffee shop instead of the fresh brewed? My money will be on the VIA now and I will buy a 3 pack for only P130 when I visit the coffee shop and request for a hot water, it is a lot more cheaper when you buy a VIA than a fresh brewed.
