All is set and ready for the Pinoy version of Camp Rock this November. Flights have been booked, guitars and keyboards tuned, song sheets prepared, and 60 aspiring songwriters and musicians all fired up for The 1st ELEMENTS National Songwriting Camp.

But those who have missed out on the auditions still have a chance to be a part of the music camp. In partnership with Philippine Star’s online website philstar.com, 7101 Music Nation’s ELEMENTS is now just a click away.

From November 14 to 18, catch the outdoor learning camp session from the comforts of your home. While the 60 campers will undergo tutelage from 25 Original Pinoy Music powerhouses and icons including Ryan Cayabyab, Jim Paredes, Rico Blanco, Chito Miranda, Joey Ayala, and Jungee Marcelo, you can watch the sessions via ELEMENTS’ official website http://www.7101musicnation.com.ph and philstar.com

Learn the basics of song writing and telling the story in your head with Chito Miranda. Look back in time at the history of Filipino writing and writers with Jonathan Manalo. Discover the tricks of the trade in commercial rock with Rico Blanco. For five days, you can get a load of ins and outs in the music business to give you a head start in the game.

“People will get to see and hear the same talks that the campers in Dumaguete are experiencing through our website,” said 7101 Music Nation Chief Operating Officer Twinky Lagdameo. “We never wanted the camp to be an exclusive thing. This gives everyone the chance to learn from the best of the music industry.”

While you’re logged in to the website, sign up and be part of the official 7101 Music Nation newsletter to get the latest news and updates of the camp. You can also check out the Camper’s Pages section and follow your favorite campers online where you can listen to their original compositions and watch their own videos straight from their five days in Dumaguete.

A first of its kind, ELEMENTS is an all-expense paid music camp that gathers the country’s best and most renowned artists and musicians and the freshest songwriters of the new generation. For its maiden year, ELEMENTS will be held in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental.
