Finally! after years of waiting, TRON Legacy movie in IMAX 3D was shown awhile ago and thanks to Walt Disney Motion Pictures Philippines for the premiere invite and also to SM Cinema. And I just can't believe that I'm the first guy to fall in line infront of the IMAX theater hahahaa.
1. Watch the 1982 TRON first, download them in torrent or search for the dvd if you can, there are lots of elements that you need to understand first before you watch TRON Legacy
2. or you may try catch up and google a story about TRON and read the story in Wiki
3. The CGI version of Jeff Bridges as the young version of himself as CLU and Kevin Flynn is a great breakthrough in movie making, you can make actors go young again with a help of a computer rendition of their face
4. Girls in the grid are hot!
5. Olive Wilde as Quorra is super hot hot
6. The new version of the light cycle, disc battle, Recognizer ship and other ships are cool, if the 1982 Recognizer is scary then this 2010 version is cute. They finally explain how things go and how these ships are operated. Its like watching the Centurions cartoons.
7. I super enjoy the IMAX 3D screening. Highly recommended! Some scenes are all in 2D, but the layering is fine, you'll enjoy most part in the Grid scene and battle scenes.
8. Daft Punk dies in the movie. Im disappointed! but the music they composed for the movie brings life to the original TRON and retro gaming music. You'll hate me for this, but let's say that I'm lying , ahaha. got your attention!
9. Story is much better than the first film, they finally delivers the story right this time, at least for years,they brought back a story about computers and programs that can change the world.
10. I love the idea that Kevin Flynn figured out how Wifi works in 1985. He is the god of the computer age and Clu 2 is the fallen angel.
11...bonus ..... Flynn lives! I want a part three!
