Video Blog: reboot video blog test 1

I'm bringing back my video blog series and this will be my reboot of my series. I'm using the Asus EEEPC 4G in shooting the video, I'm recording it with the use of the Windows movie maker and save it with a high quality and small video format, so that I can upload videos right away. I'm still having problems with my laptop and can't install yet my video editing software, maybe if ever I get my new laptop I can install it and restart again in editing video stuff.

My left wrist is injured and got it after my left foot got tangled with my laptop's cable cord, the result of a slight malfunction of the battery charger, arghh its all my fault, so this will be my new video blog series, it could be about my adventures, diary and production note video blogs. feel free to follow me or subscribe in my new youtube account, I will post here all original video so that I can use that unlisted video settings, been using that in uploading personal videos for my family and friends, and it will never appear in the search result or in my account, so here we go again, happy video blogging!

MOVIES: at The Last Airbender movie premiere @ Rockwell Powerplant Cinema

airbender whole edit page
Got invited again by UIP Philippines to watch the movie premiere of the Last Airbender in Rockwell Powerplant cinema few days ago and it's a 3D movie with that funny and heavy 3D glasses, It's my first time to try a different 3D glasses that has small battery inside and a sensor in the front. Whenever you cover the sensor with your finger the 3D effects of the glasses will be disabled, I do it many times especially when I watch all those great animated movie trailers that will be showing soon. Saw new movies like - JJ Abrams' Super 8, Nickelodeon's Rango, Despeciable and the funny super hero-alien cartoon movie - Megamind starring Brad Pitt and Will Ferrel.

Also I heard from the boss of UIP Philippines that camcording inside the cinema is already a law, so for those who are attempting taking videos or photos of the movie you are watching, even if you are using a cellphone,a financial burden of P50,000 is needed for bail or else a 6 months in jail will make your movie days over.

got a great movie time with friends, media and movie fans at the Last Airbender movie. I'm now excited to see part 2 of this movie in the future.

nabutas kong lonta

I didn't how my pants got ripped in one of the media event that I attended lats week. I just accepted the truth that my pants is already over used and the fabric is already deteriorating. I was busy taking some photos in a fashion show and maybe due to the busy movements that I do like kneeling on the floor, sitting on the floor, spreading my legs just to get a good shots with my camera. Then after some minutes when I was standing infront of Sarah Geronimo, I felt a cold air entering my pants, and me right knees are freezing and I didn't mind at all and continue to take a good photo with Sarah and some bloggers, then the cold breeze is getting colder in my right legs, and when I touch my knee, I felt my skin coming out of my pants. and then the biggest discovery!

nabutas ang lonta ko!

after arriving at home, I showed it to my wife and her family, everyone laugh and told me that the fabric of my pants are weak already and they suggested that I cut it and convert it to a short.
but I decided to keep it and never use it again.

MOVIES: a sneak peak of a long-distance love affair movie "Going the Distance"

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long share a long-distance love affair in New Line Cinema’s new romantic comedy Going the Distance.

In the film, Erin’s (Barrymore) wry wit and unfiltered frankness charm newly single Garrett (Long) over beer, bar trivia and breakfast the next morning. Their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end. (more below)

MOVIES: Grown Ups, a new comedy about childhood friends unites as grown ups

Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider head up an all-star comedy cast in Columbia Pictures’ Grown Ups, the story of five childhood friends who reunite thirty years later to meet each others’ families for the first time. When their beloved former basketball coach dies, they return to their home town to spend the summer at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. (more below)

MOVIES: Salt: a real life sleeper spy action-thriller movie

Columbia Pictures’ new, contemporary spy thriller Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, began life with an offhand comment Jolie made a few years ago. “I was meeting with (Sony Pictures Co-Chairman) Amy Pascal when it came up in conversation that she was getting ready to make one of the new James Bond films,” Jolie remembers. “I playfully said, ‘I want to be Bond!’ That was our little joke, and then she found this project.” ( more below)

MOVIES: Your pets as secret agents in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Cats_Dogs_03 Cats_Dogs_04
People the world over adore their pets. And why not? Just look at them: a steady old sheepdog with a shaggy mop of hair, a soft, sweet purring kitten…such simple creatures, so loyal and loving, and all they ask from us is our protection and support.

Clueless humans! Guess again. “That picture of domestic harmony is just what they want you to see,” claims director Brad Peyton, who happily exposes the true story of backyard politics in Warner Bros.’ new 3D adventure “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.” (more below)

MOVIES: The Last Airbender 3D movie review by a fire bender blogger

Last night was the movie premiere of The Last Airbender in Rockwell Powerplant mall Cinema 6, and I like to thank UIP Philippines for inviting me to their event. The movie is based on Nickelodeon's animated tv series AVATAR: The Last Airbender, a story of a boy who can control and manipulate all 4 elements (fire, earth, water and air) and discovered that he is lost in time after being trapped in an ice cap and being revive by his new friends, his return surprises him to battle the Fire nation who wants to rule all elemental nations. The movie will be released on July 21, 2010 in all Philippine cinemas.

I remember that the animated series is such a hit here in the Philippines and all my friends, especially comic creators are raving about the series and exchanging DVD's infront of me,I don't have the time that year to watch DVD at home and I'm kinda lazy to watch a long tv series, but it excites them in every story line and I envy them to see they enjoy the series. I caught the AVATAR tv series in ABC 5, and it was only a short run for me and didn't got the chance to follow other episodes, I'm impressed on how they deliver a good story line and a good animation style.

In this live action movie - The Last Airbender, I'm going to review it and post some non-spoiling content about the movie, don't worry, It will be just my comments and review. So if you are ready, then read more below!(more below)

Typhoon Basyang blues and melodies

I still have lots of backlogs and stuff to do after the Typhoon Basyang and the black out incident crippled us at home for 2 days, that includes no electricity and no water. I'm glad that we have a deep well installed in the back of the house, but the water from the well is good only for washing stuff and cleaning the toilet. Mobile networks gone wonky and Globe networks died for a day. The night of July 13, 2010 is so hard for me, after watching the Inception at its premiere night, the moment I stepped out of the cinema and saw strong winds hitting the walls of the mall, I ran and walk fast trying to get my luck to reach the shuttle terminal to my home, and I'm glad that there's two seats left in the shuttle and I was the last passenger they are waiting for.
