#Firande dinner with wife in Circles Event Cafe last night

I won a dinner buffet at Circle Cafe last 2 months ago, and its a photo contest organized by Electrolux Philippines for their 10th anniversary gala night inline with theme "Firande", that's a Swedish word meaning "Celebration". Their photo contest is to submit a photo that answer their question "what's worth celebrating to you?". I tried to join the media contest and grabbed a photo of my wife during her first baby delivery, and then I told them that "creating a new life is a big celebration for us because it changed our lives and also our future". And then..Boom!! I won the contest! I wasn't able to attend the gala night because I went home right away due to a flu that I have that day.

My wife didn't know in the first place that I submitted her photo, but then I explained to her clearly that I want to show to everyone having a baby is the best ever in the world, and worth celebrating. I told her about the prize and then she got excited. We are buffet fans and we eat lots of buffet resto and hotels and when he learned that the prize is a buffet dinner in Circles Event Cafe in Makati Shangri La Hotel, we got excited because we haven't tried eating there. So after I got the GC prize, we scheduled to eat our dinner on the following day.

We waited and watch the time up to 5pm, and after the alarm of the clock, we closed our laptop and head over to Makati right away. Traffic in EDSA welcomed us but it never stop our excitement, we arrived there after 30 minutes of our reservation and glad that  we got a nice table spot for the two of us. Circles Event Cafe offers lots of Filipino food, that's one of my favorite cuisine, so I dig in to that bulalo, caldereta, lechon, itlog, laing and many more. I just ate two platefull of food, two desserts and a nice conversation with my wife.

cultural performance that night, the show was around 1 hour, from banduria instrumentals, to choral performance, to tinikling dance and other dance acts. The tinikling was a bad timing for me, it was loud and my headache went back after their dance.
