Presenting…my
new DSLR camera for 2014 is finally here! My hunt for a new DSLR camera is now
over, if you noticed here in my blog, I always post some prices of cameras and
lenses that I found in stores and online buy and sell sites. I was researching
for a new camera and that’s a sign for me to move on after enjoying the Olympus
camera brand, it was a good experience with Olympus through the years, but I
have to move forward and try other cameras.
I have lots of
selections, but I must choose one only.
After DSLR, I went to mirrorless
camera, but I found some cons about it when doing event coverage and shooting
long video, but the good part for mirrorless is that they are light weight,
handy and good for travel photography. But then I just need more power for the
imaging and shutter speed, so I went back to DSLR and grabbed the latest model
with tech features that I needed – like Wifi and good for video
shoot.
Anyway…I present to you the Nikon D5300 with 18-55 VR II kit lens
(
SRP PHP40,990)
I’m such a n00b for Nikon and I don’t
understand about the VR thing. but…..
Thanks to Nikon Philippines for
this camera and this mark our partnership for being my official camera partner
here in my Azrael’s Merryland Blog. Watch out soon for photography posting in my
blog, FB network and Instagram, all are taken by a Nikon D5300
Here’s
a closer look of the box
I
love that seal…. 2 years warranty from Nikon Philippines.
Just make sure you
keep the receipt and also the warranty papers.
I
read some reviews online and they said that this camera is light weight and also
with the same image level of Nikon D7100. This camera is a better version of
D5200 but they say that its rig is the same with D7000.
