After traveling from three cities in Cavite, I went to Makati just to relax and enjoy some good food, beer and fun talks with my friends. Its my first time here in 121 Grille and Restaurant, my mission here is to find out what’s so special about their new Sizzling Salpicao. I know its weird that this restaurant is organizing a launch for their new food, but then I later realized that its not just about the sizzling salpicao, but its also about the resto and the activities they have for their customers.
I didn't know that 121 Grille and Restaurant is a popular spot for casual drink and dine, I saw mostly yuppies and foreigners arrived in to eat and drink and also do their fun conversations. Same goes to my blogger tropas, we were here to have fun and try the beefy sizzling salpicao.
It was around 5pm and its too early for beer, but its okay, I just need to relax and have fun.
121 Grille and Restaurant is located inside the complex of Allegro Center, its like a mini mall with café and restaurants. 121 is located at the 2nd floor of Allegro Center.

I really like the those flashy signs inside this resto. Also Its cool to see that they have Wolverine and Hulk posters inside the men’s comfort room. hahahah. I was so sure that the owner of this resto is a geek.
121 Grille and Restaurant invited us to try their beer pong. We just played some but without the beer. We don’t want to get drunk right away. We also played the Quiz night game, and its one brain squeezing quiz. The questions were tough and this will require you to work with your team in order to get the right answer. The star of the night is here… the 121 Grille and Restaurant’s new sizzling salpicao concocted by Knorr Liquid Seasoning.
The sizzling salpicao was shown to us in a video narrated and demo cooked by - Chef Mel Mendoza the executive chef of 121 Grille and Restaurant and Chef Paulo Sia of Senior Sous Chef of Unilever Food Solutions.

ingredients:
Cooking Oil
Garlic
Beef
Mushrooms
Knorr Liquid Seasoning
instructions:
1. Cook the beef and garlic in oil
2. Add Knorr liguid seasoning and hot sauce
3. Add the salpicao in a hot sizzling plate
4. Just make sure the beef is not over cooked
5. Ready to serve!!! its good partner with beer
It looks so easy when you saw the cooking process on video, but I’m going to try this and make our own version here at home.
