SILENT
IS THE NEW LOUD
Lots of headphones with techie gimmicks are coming
out from the market, some came out in a pricey and with superior quality kind,
but which headphones is the best for you when it comes to music and how you can
use it in a different setting. A new wireless headphone is here that can be
used for silent disco events with ranges up to 600 feet, yes that’s around 200
meters and you can listen to music wirelessly via radio frequency and music is
broadcasted to your headphones via a transmitter, its like your own radio
station of maybe your own silent disco.
TANGRAM
PHILIPPINES
Tangram Philippines is here to introduce a new way of
enjoying music and also to feature a new disco subculture called “silent disco”.
Here’s the idea --- 150 people wearing a specialize Tangram headphones,
streaming music wireless from the DJ booth, and they are dancing with the music
vigorously, the result that will give you is a quiet ambiance and zero noise in
your neighborhood, it may look weird if you spotted the 150 people with wireless
headphones and call them crazy, but then all of them are enjoying the music and
you are not.
Just try and wear the Tangram Rave Silent Events Headphones
from Tangram Philippines, you’ll experience that silent is the new loud.
Tangram Philippines is selling the headphones and transmitter for the
end user, but they also have a service for rentals of 150 pcs of headphones and
one transmitter for silent disco and special events. They charge PHP500 per pc
of a wireless headset rental.
SILENT
DISCO
Silent Disco Philippines is born and Tangram Philippines is
here to organize more special silent disco events in any music festivals, The
1st test ground was last Malasimbo Festival 2015 and it was successful and lots
of people gave good reviews and want to try it again in the next festival.
Silent disco started in the clubs and disco in Europe and then the trend
spreads in other country. In the Philippines, silent disco was first introduced
in a club in Boracay, but it stayed there only. But for Tangram Philippines
mission is to host more silent disco in music festivals and events anywhere in
our country.
With the setting of silent disco, it will benefit the
community to have a zero noise and loud music during disco or EDM
events.
TANGRAM
RAVE SILENT EVENTS HEADPHONES with TRANSMITTER
Here’s the Tangram
Rave Silent Events Headphones, it looks like an ordinary headset but it carries
a 500 mAh battery that can run for 8 hours. The good side of radio frequency, it
uses less power to bring the music to your ears, it is more energy efficient
vs. Bluetooth powered wireless headphones.
This headphone can work
wirelessly or wired. You can plug your jack to the headphones and connect to any
music devices, but if you want to use this wirelessly, then you really need to
get a Tangram transmitter, available in one channel and dual channel.
SRP
for one headset is around PHP3k, and the transmitter SRP is around PHP6k for the
dual channel.
The Tangram Rave Silent Events Headphones has two channels,
you can switch to channel A or B and listen to different kind of channels that
stream two different music.
DJ’s can do a silent disco battle by
connecting to the Tangram dual channel transmitter, and stream music wireless up
to 500 or more wearers of the Tangram Rave Silent Events Headphones.
Tangram Philippines’ next plan is that they will release a different
model with 3 channels wireless headphones.
FIELD
TEST
Here
we test the Tangram Rave Silent Events Headphones connected wirelessly to a one
channel transmitter and connected via RCA jack on an iPhone 5s.

Silent
Disco Philippines is born!! here in Malasimbo Festival 2015.
Look at that
crowd!!! 150 people are now wearing wireless headsets from Tangram Philippines
When
I took photos and watch the people dancing to a silent setting…I realized that
I’m the only one who is not wearing a wireless headphone.
I want to join
the fun so I approached the Tangram team and claim my headset.
Take note
that people who will leave the venue should return the wireless headsets to the
Tangram team.
It’s
the best disco experience ever!
my wishlist: I hope they bring this in
Manila……
or organize a Silent Disco Festival Philippines!!!
Watch
out for my separate blog post of the silent disco and Malasimbo Festival 2015.
Congrats
to Tangram Philippines and thank you for inviting me to experience silent disco
in Malasimbo Festival.
