MOMSPIRATION AT DISCOVERY COUNTRY SUITES
Everything is nice and its very picturesque here in Tagaytay City, we go here just to relax and also treat ourselves with some good food in a place with cold weather. Discovery Country Suites is a bed and breakfast lodging establishment with a 5-star quality facilities, bed, rooms and also a dining resto. I thought that I have seen the best of hotels and bed and breakfast in Tagaytay City, and when I went here, I thought that I was in a big hotel but located in the southern province of our country. Take note that Discovery Country Suites have 3 Deluxe Suites, 2 Premiere Suites and 1 Master Suites.

I’ve learned that this was a former guest house and then it was converted by the owners into a high grade bed and breakfast establishment
Staffs and guards are in costume to match the theme of being in a country side.
Restaurant Verbena is a stand alone brand that resides inside Discovery Country Suites, it’s open everyday and they welcome walk in diners.
I’m very surprised that this resto attracts lots of staycationers and Manileno’s whenever they visit Tagaytay. Since last year, I always see this resto whenever we pass by going to Picnic Grove, and I’m always curious and want to drop by for coffee. Well, finally I’m here na!
THE ROOMS
Here are the rooms at Discovery Country Suites that are available for an overnight stay
1. Deluxe Suite - Andalucia, St. Tropez and Ceylon room)
2. Premiere Suite - Nara, Siam and Nantucket room
3. Master Suite - Oxford room
Each overnight stay comes with country breakfast for 2 persons, and wine and cheese sundown cocktails and a 10% discount at Restaurant Verbena.
Rates:
1. Deluxe - Php 8,388 nett
2. Premiere - Php 10,066 nett
3. Master - Php 13,503 nett
The rates are applicable from Sunday to Thursday with an additional charge of PHP 2,500 nett for Friday to Saturday booking. Offer is valid from May 1-15, 2015.

You’ll enter first here at the resto area when you set your foot inside Discover Country Suite, in house guest eat their breakfast here and also walk in guest can order ala carte food from their menu.

THE MENU
Here are the Momspiration food specials here in Restaurant Verbena, this is offered anytime of the day in the whole month of May 2015. You can order them as a in house guest or walk ins.
The dish were prepared exclusively for Mother’s Day.
It’s a nice and homey treat for your mom and for the entire family
Calamansi Juice
It’s the best juice!!! I super love this and I drank 5 mason jar glasses during this preview.
Strawberry Fields Salad
This salad reminds me of Baguio and its cold weather, but we’re here in Tagaytay, and it’s a perfect salad for the cool breeze at Restaurant Verbena. The strawberry are big and the salad dressing taste good.
Herbed Roasted Chicken
A perfect food for your celebration of Mother’s Day, there’s this feeling of good vibes and smile when you see a nicely tucked whole roasted chicken in your table.
“a whole chicken roasted golden served with fresh baby carrots, marble potatoes, sweet potatoes and red beets.”
Its so soft and tasty, The recipe of this roasted chicken will remind you of your mother or grand mother that always cooks the best food at home.
Crustacean penne au gratin
”Creamy crab and shrimp penne with roasted bell peppers, gratinated with emmenthal cheese”
Mediterranean Seafood Bouillabaisse
I super love this..and the fish meat inside this bowl. It’s the most tastiest seafood here in Tagaytay.
I hope that they can offer this in a regular season.
Roasted tenderloin stuffed with truffle mushrooms and wrapped in bacon
For me, this is the holy grail in Restaurant Verbena…Im adding this now in my list of favorite restaurant food. Its soft, tender and juicy and I super love the truffle mushrooms aroma and also taste.
I hope that I can order this as take out next week. I super want this by my side.
My 1st plate of the day….
This Mother’s Day… Restaurant Verbena brings more goodies and treats to all their guest inline with their Momspiration 2 day celebration this May 9-10.
In house guest and walk ins can come here to have a treat with their mom and entire family, for a price of PHP800++, you are entitled to have a dessert buffet treat during the afternoon high tea at Restaurant Verbena.
Plus, all moms can have a nice head massage near the dining area.
Also they prepared more treats and not just food.
Their set up are so eye candy…I super love how they present the candies and sweets
The photo booth area…. Use this hanging see through frame as your photo frame for your Instagram moments.
At night, around 6pm, everyone are invited to come and watch the movies with their moms. For a price of PHP 250 you get a nice movie screening with your mom and plus refreshments and popcorns. For in house guest, they can watch here for FREE.
And oh…this is a nice place for your date.
you can lounge around here watching a classic or romantic movie under the stars.
Make sure you bring your jacket, because its cold at this area during night time.
They also have a mini store if you want to take home some souvenirs to commemorate your visit and stay here in Discovery Country Suite.
As I mentioned.. its very nice and picturesque here in Tagaytay ^___^
DESSERT BUFFET
The dessert buffet at Restaurant Verbena is available only during May 9-10, 2015. In house guest and walk in guest can enjoy a sweet treat of an assortment of Verrines, Muffins and Quick Breads, Bars and Cookies, Cakes, Confectionary, Flavored Jam and a variety of bread. This sweet spread Is available on May 9 and 10, 2015
All cakes, sweets, bread and desserts are home made here in Restaurant Verbena
Their strawberry shortcake is a must try!!
